Job Description

　　A waste management company based out of the New Jersey area is looking for a Director of Routing and Logistics to join their team. This individual can sit in the New York metro area or New Jersey but know it will be required to travel 4-5 days a week throughout their different locations in NY Metro, Southern, NY, Philly and Jersey. This is a brand new role within the organization that will assist with the implementation of a new routing software, build a team and help with the growth of the organization.

　　We are looking for individuals that come from a logistics background - highly preferred if it's in waste management. Candidates should have experience with implementation of a software including roll out, training individuals and continuing to provide solutions while navigating this new software in the organization.

　　This individual will manage a direct team of 5+ that they will be hiring themselves upon starting with the organization. There should be a proven track record of people management and leadership skills. Individuals will be "in the weeds" with their people, taking feedback from the field and implementing solutions that are not always favored because it goes against the grain of what has been the standard practice.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-4+ years of people management experience

　　-Experience in a management role preferrable in logistics or waste management

　　-Experience implementing a company wide software -Experience with a routing software such as Zignex, Navusoft or Easy Route null
