POLITICO is seeking an experienced Director for its policy and data intelligence team to lead the expansion of the independent POLITICO Research & Analysis Division. The role is an active and engaged senior management role where the ideal candidate will be overseeing the design and delivery of content for our policy intelligence programs - including policy briefs and analysis for our subscribers, as well as independent custom research projects.
The position is envisaged to begin as soon as possible with hybrid working, located in Brussels, London or Berlin.

This Director role is a key member of the POLITICO Research & Analysis leadership team. You will be managing the team of policy analyst, data analysts and researchers to write the next chapter of this new successful unit within the POLITICO media group. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Research & Analysis Division, this role is key to define our strategic priorities in collaboration with other departments and to lead the operational execution of our ambitious plans.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute the strategy for the growing services of the POLITICO Research & Analysis Division.Manage the processes and ensure the design and delivery of excellent policy analysis and research programs.Ensure the high quality of the delivered content.Develop new research products and programs.Be an active contributor to expand this business as a transatlantic opportunity.Assess research proposals for business development.Coordinate the programs and research projects with internal and external stakeholders.Represent POLITICO, the Research & Analysis Division and its research outcomes in front of clients and the public in presentations and in media.
What You'll Need
Demonstrable leadership and interpersonal skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Editing and analysis as well as presentation skills.Experience and very good knowledge in EU politics and policy, and the intersection of both.Excellent client- and researcher-management skills.A proven track record in researchproject management.Stakeholder management with internal and external partners.10+ years of relevant job experience in relevant position University degree at Master level in relevant field.
