The Opportunity
We're looking for an influential leader who has the vision and the courage to reinvent a critical business for Adobe's Creative Cloud, and lead it into the future, someone who is encouraged to reach learners at all stages of life, as well as next gen in general around the world, and empower them to become better at whatever they seek to do - embracing the power of visual and digital communication and creativity.
The Director of Product Marketing for Students will drive the strategic vision, global acquisition, conversion and retention strategy for targeting global students. You will lead product marketing professionals, partnering closely with product and engineering, and driving alignment with different product teams across the Creative Cloud. You are a business leader with experience growing a large digital business, with extensive experience in B2C eCommerce and mobile marketing,
What you'll do
As the general manager of the Direct-to-Student Business, provide leadership to a cross-functional team including marketing, sales and ecommerce.
Build the long-term, global strategic plan for the B2C Next Gen Business, collaborating with cross-functional leaders and driving agreement from senior executives
Identify insights based on customer engagement and analytics, and declare priorities and requirements to deliver business results and grow customer lifetime value.
Build an onboarding and engagement experience across the customer lifecycle and empower students to create and share their work.
Lead digital marketing and analytics professionals to drive and grow our student business on Adobe.com.
Build an authentic brand voice and drive community engagement via social channels, customer support and relationship marketing levers.
Collaborate with corporate marketing and ensure cross-functional execution on coordinated marketing plans that involve PR, social media, brand, relationship marketing, demand gen and events teams.
Drive marketing content and communications strategy including the editorial calendar across blog posts, website copy, email and push messages and all external communications for the team and its products.
Maintain expertise on the Next Gen and Student markets, including customer personas, competitive landscape, and major trends via primary and secondary research, with global focus.
What you need to succeed
15+ years' experience in a services, consumer or corporate marketing company
5+ years' experience leading people.
Data driven marketer with shown success leading cross-functional relationships across marketing, brand, legal, engineering & product management organizations.
Experience using social networks (Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube) for marketing purposes. Clear understanding of the tools and applications required by brands to complete these channels.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $136,600 -- $297,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
