Optum Financial is seeking a highly motivated Director of Product Management, Payment Card Services to join our team and drive success and operational excellence for Card Services in our Health Benefit Accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:
As Director, Payment Card Services Product Management, Optum Consumer Payments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product strategy, ensuring that our clients and customers have access to industry-leading Health Benefit Account solutions. You will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of our Card Services capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market. You will be responsible for managing the full product lifecycle including the roadmap, product backlog, product development, omni-channel experience and optimization. As a member of the Health Benefit Account product team, you will partner closely with business and technology teams to ensure a best-in-class Health Savings Account experience for clients and customers.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for Payment Card Services including defining product strategy and delivery roadmap while ensuring alignment with business objectives Lead product planning and prioritization activities while promoting collaboration among product teams, business and, technology partners Collaborate closely with Technology, Design, Sales, Operations and, Customer Support to ensure successful product development, launch and, adoption Champion a customer-centric approach while using data-driven insights, customer feedback, competitive analysis and, market demands to inform product decisions and delivery prioritization Develop and maintain the product scorecard including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance Identify, track and, manage dependencies, issues and, risks to resolution Serving as a thought leader for Payment Card Services within the team and the broader enterprise Cultivate a culture and practice of continuous learning and enhancement Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to support their growth and expanding skillset to help create a stronger team

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience
Required Qualifications:
5+ years as a product manager, preferably in payment services, financial services or, FinTech industry Experience managing a product through its full development lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing optimization Experience developing and influencing product design and omni-channel experiences that delight our customers and clients Experience conceptualizing, researching, and evaluating new ideas objectively from data-driven and market-informed standpoint and translating ideas into targeted business value Experience using Agile/Scrum or similar methodologies, and associated tools (AHA, Jira, Confluence) Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to assess priorities and influence roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of payment card form factors, card production and payment networks Demonstrated success defining and launching products in an Agile environment Proven ability to think strategically with ability to build strong working relationships across organizational teams in a fast-paced and changing environment Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and business teams in highly matrixed environment Proven ability to embrace change and respond quickly Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of health and wellness payment solutions and related regulations Knowledge in technology trends, technical stack, platform architecture, and software integration design, and APIs
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $118,000 to $226,800 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
