Overview:
Guidepoint is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Director of Product to lead key product initiatives, with a special focus on two primary attributes:
Replatforming from monolithic to service-oriented architecture: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully transitioning from monolithic systems to a more flexible, service-oriented architecture. This transition is crucial for improving scalability, flexibility, and the overall agility of our technology. Streamlining business workflows with embedded AI: The candidate should possess expertise in leveraging AI technologies to streamline and enhance business workflows. This includes implementing AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, decision-making, and customer engagement in both B2B and B2C contexts.
The Director of Product works for the Global Head of Product and with the VP of Engineering and Head of Design to build and prioritize a backlog of strategic and tactical software requirements for internal CRM and customer-facing web applications.
What You'll Do:
Technology leadership: lead the transition from monolithic to service-oriented architecture, ensuring a smooth and efficient process; utilize cutting-edge containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate this transition AI-driven workflow optimization: champion the integration of AI technologies into business processes; this involves identifying opportunities for AI to add value, overseeing the development of AI solutions, and measuring their impact on business efficiency and customer satisfaction Product strategy and execution: develop a product strategy that aligns with the company's goals, focusing on both technological transition and AI integration; ensure that the product roadmap supports these initiatives effectively Cross-functional team leadership: lead and mentor a diverse team of product managers, designers, and engineers; foster a collaborative environment where innovative ideas for using AI and modern architecture can flourish User-centric design: maintain a strong focus on user experience, ensuring that the transition to service-oriented architecture and the integration of AI enhance the customer experience in tangible ways Market analysis and adaptation: stay abreast of industry trends in both AI and service-oriented architectures; apply these insights to keep our products competitive and innovative
What You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred Demonstrated experience in transitioning from monolithic to service-oriented architecture Expertise in AI and its application in streamlining business workflows Proven track record in developing successful B2B and/or B2C products Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with agile development methodologies What We Offer:
The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $220,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
