A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Director of Human Resource in Boston, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a long-running institution in higher ed, and they are well established leader in finance. They offer excellent benefits which includes vacation time, tuition reimbursement, and health insurance. This role will be fully in office.Responsibilities include: Director of Human Resource will coordinate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding Develop protocols and support hiring managers with interviewing Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Create and execute performance review program Develop human resources information system (HRIS) and establish system for maintaining personnel records Develop and maintain policies and procedures, as well as Employee Handbook Continuously improve benefits strategy to ensure benefit offerings and plan designs remain competitive As a Director of HR, you will collaborate with legal counsel as needed for risk mitigation Coordinate ongoing content training Support preparation of staffing budget Provide HR related data for various surveys
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources required 5+ years of experience in a Manager role in HR required Strong communication skills SHRM Certification a plus Experience in HR in higher education a plus Experienced with Benefit administration and HRIS systems a plus Experience in Payroll oversight a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
