As the Director of Global Applications, you will play a key role in fostering peer, subordinate, and business relationships and ensuring seamless teamwork between departments involved in application development and management. You will lead a team of functional and technical experts, working closely with IT (Information Technology) and Business stakeholders to drive collaboration, enhance communication, and on time delivery of high-quality applications that align with the organization's strategic goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop large-scale plans based on organizational priorities, resource availability and functional objectives. Align IT (Information Technology) strategic and operational objectives with business needs/actions. Provide leadership to managers, supervisors, and professional staff with direct and shared service IT functions - Customer experience, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), etc. Ensure employees are positioned for success by providing guidance and championing performance and development opportunities. Oversee multiple functional areas of responsibility and disciplines globally. Execute and set the example of appropriate project management oversight by overseeing multiple projects in assigned area(s) of discipline.Manage both the Technical and Functional teams and demonstrate expert technical and functional proficiency by providing high level guidance to internal business and staff.Ensure budgets, resources and schedules meet corporate requirements and annual milestones by adhering to financial and budgetary standards.Demonstrate negotiation and collaboration skills aimed at providing the best outcome for the business.Collaborate with multiple internal business partners to establish strategic plans, meet critical objectives and identify & solve issues within planned and agreed timelines.Manage relationships with several vendors outsource partners on a global basis. Provide management of key business relationships on a global scale with vendors and outsource partners to ensure organizational goals and needs are met. Exercise a strong influential and persuasion-based position when making decisions on behalf of the organization.Take direct responsibility of IT delivery operations of Global Components business unit and measuring it against established delivery KPI's.Demonstrate end-to-end IT function ownership of Components business relationship globally.Focused on Diversity and Development of team.

Provides leadership and direction through delivery managers and individual contributors within the IT organizations.Collaborates with Business stakeholders to align on delivery prioritization and work internally to make it success.Work directly with multiple shared service IT functions as often as necessary for the role's success.Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies.Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities.Adapts to ever changing environment, guides business with the best alternatives and ensuring faster time to market.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's or degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in application development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Strong technical knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and frameworks.Proficiency in project management principles and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in developing and executing application strategies that align with business goals.Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices.Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Oracle required
Work Arrangement: (Effective Sept. 1, 2023)
In office 5 days/week.

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
