About Director of Financial Services

  MCCC is seeking a Director of Finance. The Director of Finance directs and coordinates financial services for the College. Responsibilities include accounting, analysis and forecasting, financial controls and audits, team leadership and development, oversight of grants and investments. 

  This position supervises a composite of 6 support staff and professional staff members within the Financial Services area. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  KSAs:  

  Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and payroll including accounting principles and knowledge of governmental accounting and grant background.Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.Benefits:

  A typical hiring range is $90,538-$98,001/year.
