Job Summary and Qualifications
This position will work closely with the Senior Director, HCA Contracting to develop, direct, lead and execute on division, regional or HCA national agreements related to specific service lines as assigned. This role works closely on a team of professionals including Contract Directors, Contract Managers, Contract Analysts, Financial Analysts, and other technical and subject matter experts. Help to execute on key strategies to reduce HCA’s Non-Contracted Spend. Work with HCA Senior Director of Contracting, Healthtrust GPO, specific target vendors, etc. to identify new contracting opportunities and to maximize cost reductions for existing Division/Regional and National Contracts. Work closely with the Director of Capital Bulk Buy Programs, Healthtrust and HCA Divisions to make sure equipment and bulk buys savings are maximized. Analyze and implement best practices, policies and procedures across HCA Contracting. Coordinate, communicate and share intelligence with other service line contracting teams to assist and improve upon cost savings opportunities and to minimize redundancies or duplication of efforts. Review and prepare all division/regional custom agreements to ensure they are not in conflict with Healthtrust or national HCA agreements. Establishes team objectives, directs team operations and contributes to overall team strategies and processes to accomplish. Decisions are guided by strategic and operational objectives established by HCA Contracting Leadership. Receives guidance from Senior and/or Executive Leaders.

Operational support and execution responsibilities include, leadership and personnel development, development of strategic contracting savings plans including analytics, implementation strategies, and savings tracking.Strategic Development:
Participates and takes a supportive role in the execution of the HCA National and Regional/Division strategic contracting plan.Communication:
Participates in all aspects of communications including both internal and external customers. This responsibility refers to all communication resources within the HCA Contracting Processes.Execution:
Must possess capabilities to ensure strategic vision can become a viable, value-based solution that is executable.
Responsible for managing contracting team initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment that demands strong capabilities to come in to projects and initiatives without much guidance and deliver them to completion.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree - Required
5-7 years of related healthcare or industry experience - Preferred
Contracting experience in healthcare - Preferred
