  Summary of Role:

  Capgemini is looking for a Compensation Director who will lead the North America Center of Competencies for Compensation Strategic initiatives while leading the day-to-day function and/or operations for US and Canada. The role will collaborate with North Americas CHRO, CEOs, CFOs, Group C&B, HR Leaders, etc., and lead a team of Compensation professionals based in the US, Canada, and India. The position is based out of our New York City or Atlanta office and reports to the Capgemini Group Head of Global Compensation and Benefits.

  The breadth of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following technical and functional areas:

  Lead the development and management of North America compensation programs, policies, and processes, including job evaluation, market analysis, salary grade and range review, base salary adjustments, incentive plans, professional community alignment, pay budget development, and administration of compensation operations activities. Collaborate with Compensation leads across North America business lines to communicate, lead VP and Non-VP compensation operations activities, and ensure alignment of Compensation policies and practices to meet strategic objectives. Provide management and development of direct report Compensation team in North America and India, serving as a subject matter authority on compensation policies and practices. Lead compensation surveys, internal and external, and market research analysis to achieve objectives and maintain internal consistency. Partner with senior leaders to implement critical initiatives and provide consultation on compensation policies and practices. Lead short-term and long-term incentive programs, including bonus programs and share programs. Maintain and audit business processes, incentive targets, and payout rules, while also conducting ad-hoc compensation analysis and modeling as needed.

  Professional Competencies:

  Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, along with commensurate experience. Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is a plus. Over 12 years of experience in Compensation Management, HR, and project leadership within large, global companies. This includes strategic expertise in base and incentive compensation administration and design.Shown proficiency in verbal and written communication, with a deep understanding of technical information systems, including database construction. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including cost analysis, budget forecasting, and a growth-oriented approach. Prior team leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead, mentor, and empower high-impact Compensation teams. Strong digital literacy, including strong Excel skills for pivot tables and data analytics, as well as experience with enterprise-wide management information systems and innovative compensation management solutions.
