ROLE SUMMARY
Would you like to be part of Pfizer's Marketing transformation? We are looking for Directors of Marketing Analytic Project Managers (APM), leading a portfolio of complex, high visibility initiatives.
Reporting to the Marketing APM Team Lead, this person will be responsible for leading the Agile processes that structure our delivery and prioritization process across large scale, complex marketing analytics projects. You will be a part of the Commercial Analytics organization supporting brands and the Marketing and Media CoEs with project management needs for analytics capability and data product delivery.
You will partner with data scientists, data engineers, and market researchers to understand their challenges, work through their issues and track activities under various initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone with program management track record paired with expertise in marketing and media analytics. We are looking for sound technical knowledge, skills in managing complex analytics and data product capabilities in Agile, while running projects under bold timelines. We are looking for someone to take charge and be responsible for managing ambiguity and help to pave the way for the teams to engage. You communicate responsibilities and scope clearly, escalate often, while valuing integrity, and always maintaining an open mind. You can handle short timelines, protect people's time, and have the intellectual curiosity to constantly learn, unlearn, and re-learn.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will create and deliver program roadmaps for analytics products and projects by partnering with Insights Strategy & Execution (ISE), Data Scientist, Data Engineering, Market research, Governance & Transformation, and other partner teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance. You will initiate programs by establishing and documenting the scope and the schedule. You will work across stakeholder groups to proactively identify and manage risks and dependencies and adjust as needed. You will also handle communication to stakeholders, the teams, and cross-functional partners. You will manage the development team's backlog and prioritize work to meet the program expectations and offer data and planning expertise for working through prioritization challenges.
You will work with leadership to consolidate larger priorities into a portfolio that is managed with agility to pivot quickly. You will establish Agile best practice for the delivery of a roadmap for a strategic Commercial vertical of priorities within that portfolio. This role will require you to plan, prioritize, broker solutions, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups including Product, Business, Data Science, Data Engineering and Marketing teams. APM's must demonstrate business sense, communicate clearly with business leaders, and bring structure and clarity to uncertain situations with competing priorities. Develop plans for large scale initiatives, working collaboratively large matrixed teams of ISEs, Data Scientists, Engineers, Market Research and Governance & Transformation leaders.
Drive the development and implementation of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for marketing analytics programs and products, ensuring alignment with overall CMO OKRs.
Leverage strong relationships with key leaders across a variety of teams to support current and future initiatives.
Serve as the advisor to other teams and APM Lead to develop group strategy
Leveraging a variety of communication skills to effectively communicate the strategic narrative of your analytics project portfolio, influencing senior management.
Promote innovation and takes risk to challenge status quo, Identifying new business opportunities and developing solutions that balance impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, success likelihood, and risk.
Identify data-driven areas of waste and propose optimization strategies.
Anticipate issues that impact project plans and proactively suggest mitigations.
Demonstrate foresight and judgement in complex decisions and troubleshoots ambiguous situations to provide clarity for cross functional teams.
Your team will lead the Jira based Agile prioritization process for each vertical
Managing business-critical metrics on workload and performance, across complex portfolio of projects, of the Analytics team for the APM Team Leader and creating analytic products to track these metrics.
Execute day-to-day project management activities across portfolio of projects that include, coordinating activities between internal teams and partners, tracking progress towards achievements, continuously anticipating changes to plans, and keeping teams and leadership updated on status.
Leading regular executive communication with teammates, partners, and leadership and conducting periodic reviews with executive sponsors.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics, program and product management, and make recommendations for process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or similar related field required; MS or MBA preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating career progression through levels of responsibility leading projects within marketing, media, or digital analytics, or other related settings.
A blend of hands-on experience in marketing analytics and project / program / product management skillset.
Expertise and preferably hands-on experience in targeting / audience analytics and creation / segmentation / marketing analytics / MROI / attribution / media strongly preferred. Media / Digital agency experience preferred.
PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe certified or equivalent preferred; must have a proven track record of setting up and leading agile development using SAFe, Scrum, XP etc.
Experience leading cross functional teams through profound change in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Mastery of complex business, engineering, and analytic issues, and provide in-depth evaluations of underlying causes and potential solutions.
Experience in implementation of prioritization programs, roadmaps using KPI/OKR methodology, and program management required; portfolio management is a plus.
Experience in managing trade-offs and prioritizing using data across portfolio of projects.
A creative problem solver with an excellent ability to influence without authority.

Healthcare Industry experience, with understanding of commercial processes
Data science or machine learning experience, Management consulting, or other relevant product management experience a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
