Your New Role...
We are hiring a Director of M&A Execution as a member of the Office of the CIO Major Programs team. The role reports into the VP of Major Programs & PMO and is responsible for leading seamless delivery of its strategic integration and divestiture programs supporting the mergers and acquisitions activity of Warner Bros. Discovery.
The successful candidate should be versed in all project management methodologies and be able to lead a team of strong program and project managers to drive excellence in delivery, accountability and action across all business under the portfolio. The Director will contribute through experience and learnings towards process change and improvement, have a deep understanding of scoping and scope development, operational standards, budget management, fiscal stewardship, team building and leadership. This is a client facing role, often interfacing with the senior operations and project team members of our client.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Responsible for leading the execution of all strategic program and transformation delivery in Technology & Operations. Partners with the M&A Strategic Lead, Business Change and Transition Teams. Leads project management delivery teams, often matrixed.Leads the execution programs for Technology Integration Major Programs office on behalf of Warner Bros. Discovery mergers and acquisitions.Partners with the M&A Strategic Lead in the Technology Strategy Office to define the process for technology integration or divestiture and support the execution across the Warner Bros. Discovery Technology roadmap.Accountable for IT Financial management across Technology M&A execution programs, ensuring robust spend control is in place. Close and strong working partnership with the Office of the CIO Business Operations teams and FP&A functions.Responsible for always upholding the Code of Ethics, and ensuring high standards of accountability within the businessLead and inspire a team of global project professionals, providing guidance and coaching as required. Coach and mentor staff to reach their full potential.Lead indirect and multi-disciplinary teams on projects as required to ensure cohesiveness across the business, and set clear guidelines as required to ensure decisions are made in an agile way but are coordinated effectively where necessary
Qualifications & Experience...
Proven leadership success in dynamic, fast paced environment with multiple constituentsStrong project and strategic program management experience with a passion for processes and procedures.5+ years experience delivering mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in large multi-million dollar media and/or technology environmentsExperience of working for a global company with both direct and matrix reportingSound knowledge of product management, platforms, systems ecosystem to align various technology and business stakeholders towards Investments strategic goalsAbility to multitask and handle on a proactive basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment to maximize time-management and efficiencies Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) out of our Atlanta office.
