Director Investigations - Corporate, Components & Accelera Business Units
Description
We are looking for a talented Investigations Director to join our team specializing in ethics & compliance and leading the investigations team for Corporate, Components & Accelera Business Units . Although this position is designated as remote, there will be frequent travel to Indiana.
Develops and directs company-wide strategies, initiatives, and programs focused on reviewing individual conduct and actions to ensure adherence to the ethical behaviors and Code of Business Conduct. Ensures all content is aligned to company policies and compliant with legislative requirements. Provides subject matter expertise to critical partners on all matters pertaining to investigations.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Directs the strategic development of the investigations function to a world class organization. Leads a skilled team responsible for conducting internal investigations of potential policy violations, identifying case related cause analysis, and providing guidance on corrective action. Uses a strong understanding of business ethics policies and practices to review recommendations resulting in termination and approve or deny course of action while considering the organizational environment. Fosters the ongoing development and maturation of the investigations process to promote a culture of ethical and compliant behavior. Monitors the performance of the investigation's organization and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness. Interprets and analyzes trends in investigation data; works with human resources, legal and other appropriate internal and external parties to prepare and present recommended actions to leadership. Investigates a variety of workplace issues in an independent, fair, unbiased manner; cases completed accurately, comprehensibly, and timely; documents findings and makes recommendations for corrective actions using the organization's process of ethics reporting. Drives engagement with Right Environment, Ethics & Compliance, Human Resources, and business leadership and has a comprehensive understanding of business needs and through a partnership approach will work to overcome barriers and areas of resistance. Recruits, selects, develops, manages, motivates, coaches and mentors managers; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Criminal Justice or related field 7 years of experience in handling investigations, employee relations matters, risk mitigation, internal audit or internal controls or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. 4 years of people management experience. English language proficiency, as this is our main business language, along with any other languages. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $127,000 - $212,500
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
