Meaningful Work From Day One
The Director, International Tax will support the international tax planning and reporting function and ensure the successful integration in a multi-discipline tax environment. Responsibilities include advising management of the tax consequences of proposed transactions, leading cross functional implementation, and providing leadership for the global reporting process. Reporting directly to the VP, Director International Tax, this role will have responsibility for the development and supervision of the International Tax Manager in connection with planning and reporting responsibilities and will facilitate an inclusive team environment.
What You Can Expect
Analyze planning opportunities, execute cross functional plans, and facilitate the reporting process to improve efficiencies and reduce tax liabilities where appropriate.
Collaborate with Transfer Pricing Director and cross functional team on treasury operations, supply chain, production, HR, and a wide range of business regional initiatives. Advise business teams and internal personnel as to tax consequences of their activities.
Support corporate initiatives on the design, implementation, integration, and the tax reporting of acquisitions and divestitures, capital deployment, and other organic growth strategies.
Key resource in providing tax attribute analysis support to various global transactions including cash redeployment, cross border transactions, M&A, and other relevant transactions.
Provide guidance and support on post transaction reporting and the global compliance process while ensuring transactions are properly researched and documented.
Support US and foreign tax audits related to international operations including research of issues, preparing responses to audit authorities, and coordinating involvement of outside counsel as needed.
Identify process improvements, implement changes, and ensure best practices are adopted.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for an individual with meaningful corporate tax experience within a global business.
10+ years broad experience in a corporate tax department of a multinational company and/or a public accounting firm with an emphasis on international tax planning and reporting.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related field with advanced training in tax; CPA, JD or Master's degree in taxation or other relevant advanced degree required.
Demonstrated understanding of US and Global tax rules applicable to international business operations.
