Position Purpose:
• Effectively lead and evolve the Aveda Institutes through developing and maintaining the Aveda curriculum in conjunction with the Aveda Global Education team.
• Partner with Aveda NA Marketing team to maximize all Brand touch points to maximize recruiting of Students to the Aveda network.
• Work with Institutes and Aveda Salon network to place students into salons/spas through career fairs and in school engagement.
• Lead biannual business reviews with Institute owners/directors to ensure benchmarks are being met.
Description of Duties:
Institutes
• Work with legal team to adhere to licensing agreements and direct the negotiation of contract renewals
• Develop implementation and improvement plans in conjunction with Sales and Education team for Aveda Institutes that are not in alignment with Aveda standards and criteria.
• Support Channel Marketing with development and implementation of programs to drive student recruitment and instructor recruitment based on network best practices.
• Identify Curiclumn needs and liaise with Global/NA Education team to create plans and strategy for development.
• Work in conjunction with Salon & Institute Sales ED and legal to vet and enroll new Institute locations.
• Ensure Aveda is competitive and leading within the cosmetology industry, keeping abreast of competitive threats and industry evolution.
• Communicate and direct business model definitions in conjunction with Aveda/Estee Lauder.
• Expand recruitment for market leaders within institutes
• Test and learn strategies leveraging institutes to expand social reach via Gen Z.
• Conduct Aveda Institute site visits to ensure compliance with Aveda's standards and criteria.
Salon/Spa (new)
• Join the Global Salon acceleration task force and lead the project management of NA execution in conjunction with Sales, Education and Marketing teams.
• Direct the development of Salon advisory boards in conjunction with VP Partner Relations & GM of North America, including committees to support transaction growth, omni-channel execution and testing of new business models.
• Coordinate annual customer events and manage action lists
• Identify and collect best practices to feature on Pure Pro and in salon communications to grow key initiatives.
• Collaborate with channel marketing on salon transformation.
• Work in conjunction with field, education and channel marketing to deliver semi-annual forum content.
• Expand recruitment for market leaders within institutes.
• Other duties as assigned and/or requested.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 8-10 years of management experience in cosmetology education field, small business management and/or field sales management. Experience facilitating high level business roundtables and proven success in project management and partner relations. Highly collaborative and strong ability to form trusting relationships, both internally and externally. Strong presentation and MS Office skills.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
