Eaton's Power Delivery and Regulation Division is hiring for a Director, Human Resources to join our team. This position is based at the Waukesha, WI facility and relocation assistance is offered. The Power Delivery & Regulation Division (PDRD) plays a vital role in defining and executing competitive solutions to respond to the macro trends specific to energy transition, electrification, and grid resilience. This division is approximately $1 billion in revenue with three manufacturing sites and ~1500 employees. This is an exciting time of growth and change for the PDRD business. This position will play a critical role for HR in recently announced growth plans, including manufacturing capacity expansion efforts across multiple sites.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior VP/General Manager for PDRD, this role leads all aspects of strategic HR for the division. The Director, Human Resources provides strategic HR leadership for the division's manufacturing operations and its central functions including marketing and engineering, operations and finance and human resources. This role will have a strong focus on positive employee and labor relations initiatives, with priorities around employee engagement, attraction, and retention.
Essential functions include:
• Partner with the SVP/GM, VP HR for Energy Solutions and Services and the division leadership team to drive change, aligning human resources programs/initiatives with strategic objectives and annual business goals.
• Drive unified plans with measurable objectives that support business, financial and employee engagement goals.
• Work with Leadership teams to set direction, priorities and culture expectations, championing the Eaton Business System (EBS).
• Drive HR functional excellence through deployment of Eaton programs, ensuring quality of process and content and alignment with the EBS.
• Lead and develop team of 13+ direct and indirect reports in Human Resources function.
• Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management, employee development, leadership coaching and succession planning, as well as engagement and retention.
• Manage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs, driving pay-for-performance culture aligned with business objectives.
• Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. the employee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans.
• Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees. Utilize MESH and functional resources to ensure compliance with state/federal/local safety requirements and drive zero incident culture.
• Facilitate a culture where best practices are retained and shared across the PDRD Human Resources organization
• Be an active leader in the community and member of employer associations.
• Other enterprise-wide projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in an HR function
• Minimum two (2) years of functional or direct people management experience (direct reports)
• Experience developing and deploying positive employee relations strategies in a plant or distribution center environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in HR, Business, or Labor Relations
• HR leadership experience in large manufacturing site (hourly and salaried; multi-function including engineering, supply chain, production, quality, finance, etc.)
• HR specialist experience with executive exposure

• Solid experience with development of HR annual plan and operating cadence, leadership and development, rewards and recognition.
• Strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to drive change and leadership ownership/accountability.
• Strong drive for results and sense of urgency; data and metrics-driven.
• Highly effective in working in a matrixed environment.
• Is a learner and has career ambition
• Must be willing and able to travel, including overnight and international travel up to 20%.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $220,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
