VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional HR Director to join our HR team based either in London or Nottingham UK.

As an HR Director, you will be responsible for supervising HR Operations, payroll activities, and business partnering for the entire Market across channels (Retail, Wholesale, Customer Service, Credit, and Distribution Centers).
Working in conjunction with the Brand and functions HR Business Partners, this role will support the organization on Employee Relations management and will ensure local relevance for all European policies whilst maintaining local compliance for payroll, labour law, social contribution, benefits, and insurance.
As a people manager, you will work according to our leadership expectations (Inspire, Connect, and Include) and will ensure a high-performing organization within the countries and HR functions.
Daily, as an HR Director, you will:
Support HR Business Partners on their population: Retail DC, CS, Credit, Wholesale
Work with the Functional and Commercial leaders in the market and with the Regional Retail Leaders to ensure a proper understanding of their needs and how HR can support
Ensure implementation and adherence to HR Policies & Procedures. Proactively propose new policies or improvements of the current ones
Guiding Employee Relations ensuring compliance with employment-related laws and regulations. When needed providing guidance on performance management and coaching to the Line Managers
Ensure proper management of all Ethic Cases in line with local legislation and internal Ethic and Compliance guidelines
Work together with Talent Acquisition to ensure local hiring needs are managed swiftly and participate in the recruiting process for business-critical roles
Ensure all Performance Management processes are followed, providing feedback to Talent Development on communication, timelines and support when needed
Develop, propose and implement training plans for the countries assigned aligning with Talent Development and assigned budget
Ensure all HR systems are managed accurately, collaborating with HR IS on all the clean-up campaigns and in ensuring Workday is updated promptly
Ensure seamless communication with EMEA HQ and within the wider People Services Organization
Manage the relationship with the payroll providers, ensure the right partnership with them, and work towards efficiencies development
Be responsible for the compensation plan for the area assigned: working together with Total Rewards and with the line manager ensuring fair remuneration and proposing actions to improve the position of VF as Employer of Choice. Collaborate with Total Rewards on Minimum Wage Increase, Benefit revision, and Gender Pay gap reporting, respecting our Global processes
Support Global HR initiatives when needed e.g. Engagement Survey.
Skills for Success
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Relevant and significant experience in HR, including ER, Recruiting, Training, Administration
Knowledge of Retail is a mandatory
Experience in the UK is a mandatory
International Experience will be considered a plus, as well as previous experience in Distribution Centers/ production sites
Fluent English is mandatory, additional European Languages are a plus
Willingness to travel 20% of the time
