Position Summary
This role will support the AIG Group Functions, HR lead for transformation projects, and cross-divisional business initiatives. You will align HR strategy, collaborating closely with the AIG HRLT leadership team. Through this collaborative and consultative approach, one will define and implement plans to address the strategic people need and functions and serve as a key leadership team member!
Key Responsibilities:
Progress the culture with a focus promoting a diverse and inclusive work environmentCollaborate with division and relevant group-level functional leadership on organizational design and ensure successful facilitation of organization changes.Improve people development within the areas supported; use existing tools and processes, ensuring leadership accountability, focusing on talent/roles with the greatest potential/needs, and improving on what the organization delivers relative to performance feedback and employee development.Partner with business leadership and HR colleagues to assess current talent and implement long-term talent strategies that improve the performance of the organization and set it up for longer term success.Collaborating with TA on the sourcing and recruitment process, and ensure key positions are filled timelyActively support group-wide transformation or people initiatives and ensure delivery of programs and initiatives aligned to the overall HR strategy for AIG.Build organizational capacity through development and/or facilitation of senior leadership teamsMentor senior leaders on complex leadership issues.
Knowledge & Skills
Bachelors' degree required; MBA or MS in Human Resources preferred with 10 years of HR management and broad-based human resources experience with dynamically responsible leadership rolesDemonstrated translate business needs into effective strategies and actions to those strategiesAccomplishments in leading HR through cultural change efforts and demonstrating value to the businessStrong communication, collaboration and influencing skills; market ideas to a diverse leadership teamComfortable in a highly complex, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment!Travel required, approximately 25%
