  This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Senior HR leader with significant passion and purpose to join a team that collaborates with the world's leading clinicians and researchers to address unmet healthcare needs, working to improve patient outcomes and enhance lives.

  The Director, Human Resources will work across our Advanced Technology, Corporate Strategy and Public Affairs businesses with accountability for creating, influencing, and executing on human capital strategies for the Global Healthcare Economics and Reimbursement, Customer Solutions, Advanced Engineering Services and Edwards Research Center organizations.

  How you will make an impact:

  Develop robust talent plans in alignment with the business objectives of the respective organizations. Drive HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent.Guide, influence, and develop teams of business professionals to ensure the HR strategy is implemented effectively.Proactively assess and diagnose organizational issues in partnership with management, to make recommendations and implement talent solutions to advance accountable businesses.Function as a strategic thought partner for assigned client groups to develop and implement human resource strategy to achieve current and future business objectives.Initiate, support and/or lead organizational development strategies, including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, executive coaching, intervention, and/or other necessary strategies.You will partner closely with Edwards HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and HR Solutions in devising strategic org and talent plans and overseeing execution efforts related to talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, leadership coaching and compensation.Partner with HR Management or COE's to evaluate the organization's future workforce needs torecommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.Participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned client groups and consult on compensationstrategies to drive competitive offers.Proactively analyze trends and metrics to identify training needs or individual executive coaching needsfor assigned client group(s) and partners with COE's or Shared Service groups to develop solutions,programs and policies and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training and coaching programs toensure success.

  What you'll need (required)

  Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of previous related human resources experience orMaster's Degree or equivalent plus 10 years of previous related human resources experience

  Proven successful project leadership skills with organization design and development skillsProven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources systemsExcellent facilitation and presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including influencing, consultative, and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesAbility to challenge business ideas and solutions in a productive way, while maintaining a positive relationshipExpert knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance, applying knowledge of local and federal employment lawsExpert negotiation and conflict resolution skillsExcellent leadership skills and ability to influence changeAbility to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels across the organizationEffective level of business literacy about the client group(s) business, financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and competitionAbility to navigate challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAdhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

  Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

  For California, the base pay range for this position is $128,000 to $181,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).

  COVID Vaccination Requirement
