The Talent Brand team communicates who we are as an employer - what it's like to be a Dropboxer, why we love innovating on behalf of our users, and why people should join us. Our employer brand is guided by our values, and-most of all-our people, and our team brings that to life.
The Head of Talent Brand at Dropbox will lead the employer brand strategy, ensuring it authentically reflects Dropbox's culture. This role involves team management, overseeing external agencies and budget allocation. Collaboration with internal partners in Comms, Marketing, and Brand is crucial for maintaining brand consistency. You'll work closely with Dropbox leaders to understand business needs. As part of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, your influence will impact hiring outcomes. Passion for digital media and understanding candidate behaviors are essential. Using research and data, you'll drive informed decisions and validate expenditures.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent brand strategy aligned with the company's values, culture, and objectives to attract and retain top talentCreate and implement innovative employer branding initiatives across multiple channels (social media, career sites, events, etc.) to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choiceEstablish and standardize key metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent brand initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomesBecome an expert in Dropbox culture, company narrative and social strategy to ensure our employer brand is an accurate and appropriate reflection of the Dropbox values that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusionCollaborate with senior leadership to align talent brand strategies with broader organizational goals and initiativesDrive the Dropbox global Talent Brand messaging internally to provide more consistency and clarity of our brand externallyContinuously improve the candidate experience by evaluating and enhancing recruitment processes, communication methods, and onboarding experiences. Requirements
10+ years of experience working in a marketing or communications roleExperience in Talent Acquisition or implementing successful talent brand strategiesStrong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to translate organizational objectives into effective talent brand initiativesProficiency in leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the success of talent brand initiativesExceptional leadership and team management abilities with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate and promote the organization's values and culture effectivelyExperience using social media and marketing analytics to inform content strategyExperience working with a technical/design team on website content strategyExperience managing external agencies and vendorsExperience owning and/or managing a budgetBachelor's degree
Total Rewards
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox's total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):
• US Zone 1: $214,200 - $252,000 - $289,800.
• US Zone 2: $192,800 - $226,800 - $260,800.
• US Zone 3: $171,400 - $201,600 - $231,800.
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee's remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro
• US Zone 3: All other US locations
