About the team: The Director, Digital & Paid Media Data will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Analytics
in Marketing Decision Science.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of data warehousing solutions tailored to support paid media analytics and reporting needs.Manage the integration of data from multiple sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and secure.Develop and maintain comprehensive data sets for paid media campaigns encompassing data from various sources including media platforms such as paid search, display, programmatic, content syndication, and other critical systems for spend and revenue for KPIs such as a 'cost per acquisition' or ROIBuild and oversee the development of advanced dashboards that provide real-time insights into paid media campaign performanceCollaborate with data visualization experts and analysts to ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessiblePrepare custom dashboards and data analyses to help business teams uncover hidden insights and opportunities within paid mediaCollaborate closely with in-house media team (aka Media Lab) and MDS product & engineering teams to establish roadmap of use cases and timeline for launch of new metrics and dashboardsThis role will be an individual contributor role that provides direction and guidance to a team of analysts, engineers, consultancies, technical contractors, media and marketing teams. As the work and remit grows, there is a possibility to build out a team under this leader.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, Econometrics.10-15+ years experience in data analytics & enterprise data warehouse architecture with a focus on paid mediaDeep knowledge of advertising operations, media buying methods and ingestion of that data for dashboard developmentProficiency in SQL for data preparation and custom metric creation with the ability to identify patterns, spot anomalies and make recommendations to improve media performance
The Director of Paid Media Analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping our paid media analytics capabilities, leveraging data infrastructure to provide actionable dashboards, reports and insights that will drive the success of Salesforce's paid media campaigns. The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to unlock the full potential of paid media data.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $280,200.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,800 to $305,600.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
