Purpose:
Senior leader in the Strategic Brand Marketing team, builds and shapes a competitive insight-driven strategy driving continuous brand growth. Manage the cross functional co-creation process with prioritized countries, leading to the creation of insight-based strategies, development of global messages, positioning, segmentation and targeting and core campaigns for patients.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Under the leadership of the GBL, manage the cross-functional co-creation process with prioritized countries, EST-C and INT-C leading to the creation of insight-based strategies including development of global messaging, positioning, core campaigns for patient and caregivers
Global lead for formulation and implementation of patient marketing strategy
Collaborate with various external stakeholder to capture the voice of the patients, caregivers, retina specialists and their staff so that their needs are understood and reflected in brand tactics and initiatives
Drive translation of global brand strategy into tactics and regional/ affiliate level resources for patients & caregivers
Work closely with patient centricity team on patient identification, diagnosis, referral, and adherence & support programs
Patient & Caregiver Customer Relations Management (CRM) development, deployment, and optimization
Unbranded and branded patient campaigns, messaging, and tactical plans
Non-personal promotion / omnichannel including media planning, placement, and monitoring
Creation of digital & print education, product, and promotional assets
Work closely with affiliates to execute pre-launch & launch initiatives across disease education with a focus on Patients and Caregivers

External: Patient/Caregiver experts and opinion leaders in key countries; key patient societies and associations; advocacy leaders and policy makers

Required:
Track record (10+ years) Ophthalmology/retina knowledge & experience
Knowledge gained through a university degree. Graduate degree (MBA or PhD) preferred
12+ years of progressive patient marketing experience
Recent, significant launch experience
Proven ability and experience to effectively lead an international commercial group in a complex global environment for a multinational pharmaceutical company
