The Director, Finance will provide financial support and extensive analytics to the Tom Ford, Frederic Malle and By Killian North America (NA) Region Business Management team as well as the Global Brand finance team. This role will also work closely with Brand Marketing and Account Management teams in evaluating ROI of new program launches and identifying opportunities for establishing profitable sales growth in the NA region. FP&A support will cover the annual budget, quarterly rolling forecasts, monthly estimates and strategy, including long range planning. In addition, it covers recurring and ad hoc analytics throughout the year and other special projects. This role will report into the VP, NA Finance & Business Management (MAC, La Mer, Darphin, Jo Malone London, Tom Ford Beauty, Balmain, Frederic Malle, and Kilian Paris), and matrix report to the NA GM/VP Tom Ford, Frederic Malle and Killian Paris.
Key responsibilities:
• Partner with the NA -Brand GM, sales and marketing team to support development of the brand strategy and help ensure execution of strategy.
• Advise brand team with advanced analytics and partner with them to exceed growth, profitability, and market share goals.
• Partner with brand team to develop the annual strategy, budget and monthly estimates.
• Partner across brand teams to identify Risks and Opportunities
• Develop Tom Ford, Frederic Malle and By Killian North America P&L and upload completed monthly estimate into Corporate Planning and Forecasting system ("OneStream")
• Evaluate brand strategies around retailer / channel / door / online investments, channel and distribution decisions and corresponding product and marketing investments.
• Perform variance analysis on sales, gross margin, costs and profit, identify root causes for deviations and define corrective action.
• Lead and initiate projects related to (finance) process improvements to drive efficiency in ways of working, reporting and compliance activities.
• Participate in monthly brand IBP / Demand Planning meetings to improve planning accuracy and reduce excess inventory.
• Perform the necessary duties to close the financial books on a monthly basis.
• Consolidate and issue monthly financial reporting packages and other key reports, evolving reporting as needed to meet changing focuses and / or management needs.
• Prepare and issue NA region monthly reporting commentary, actual results of operations and various other reports reflecting monthly results (Brand dashboard, IBP, Leadership team meetings, Investor Relations, etc.)
• Liaise with region shared service departments on capital, demonstration, field selling, online and store operations.
• Synthesize and analyze sales and investment data to ensure brand and functions are aligned with strategy and plan. Identify strengths and provided recommendations to brand leadership to address areas of opportunity.
• Manage the capital authorization process for the region. Create standardization and efficiency for the Tom Ford, Frederic Malle and By Kilian Brands in the NA region for fixed asset management, from request to deployment
• Manage and maintain the integrity of the various financial systems to ensure that the data is accurate and is reflected correctly in each of the financial system.

• Undergraduate degree in finance
• 8+ years plus experience in finance, business analytics
• MBA preferred or MBA in process
• Experience in a fast-moving consumer products industry
• Excellent analytical skills required and strong Excel/database skills necessary.
• Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus and strong communication and presentation skills necessary.
• Well organized with strong interpersonal skills and excellent team player.
• Strong Working knowledge of SAP, CPM / OneStream, BEX, Excel, Power Point.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,500 to $195,000. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
