  Director - Executive Thought Leadership Programs

  MasterCard Data & Services enables customers across industries and geographies to make smarter decisions and reach better outcomes with a tailored portfolio of solutions beyond the transaction.

  • We harness the power of real-time, anonymized, aggregated transaction data; powerful software platforms; and a wealth of expertise

  • We empower customers to make better data-driven decisions by unlocking a holistic view of consumer behavior beyond their four walls and distilling actionable insights from data

  • We work with financial institutions, retailers, telecommunications organizations, travel companies, and more

  The MasterCard Data & Services global product team is seeking a Director to support the Safari product in the Engines business.

  Product Management in Data & Services at Mastercard

  • Translate a deep understanding of our customers into products and solutions that drive significant customer value

  • Balance the long-term direction of a product with today's needs and constraints by fully understanding the technical, competitive, and commercial contexts of our products

  • Act as connectors to ensure the commercial success of our products by working with Sales and Marketing while ensuring technical success through close partnership with Technology teams

  • Drive globally-relevant solutions by understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and build scalable products that serve an array of customer segments

  • Support product direction with coordination, not isolation-taking into account how our products all work together to serve customer needs

  • Execute in Person and virtual events, source and select speakers, create material relevant for financial institutions

  Role

  • Support or own, define and deliver end-to-end strategy for a specific product or region in the Engines service line from inception to launch, both as a standalone product and as a key component of overall Engines program

  • Support the building of the speaker series

  • Lead client engagements, such as In person Safari, Live Events, Live virtual events

  • Ability to effectively contribute to the development of the product ideation and standardization, including bundling with other D&S products and pricing

  • Ability to develop, deploy and monitor the go to market of the assigned set of products

  • Innovative leadership to continue evolving our product suite and drive future success

  • Interface with Mastercard regional teams and stakeholders to represent the product

  • Provide expert sales support and ensure close partnership with the Sales team so they are fully equipped to sell the products

  • Development and refinement of Delivery models to ensure flawless and efficient Delivery

  • Design programs, facilitate events

  • Ensure all critical KPIs are met or exceeded including:

  o Product P&L

  o Scalability (number of scalable projects)

  o Contribution to Mastercard goals

  All About You

  • Experience with Product P&L management

  • Knowledge of new technologies and desire to apply technology to solve problems

  • Seasoned presenter and excellent communication skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Strong project management skills

  • Desire to roll up sleeves and make direct contributions

  • Strong collaboration and ability to partner effectively with virtual, fast-paced teams

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, ideally including both retail banking and payments

  • Knowledge of educational and executive education programs

  In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance), flexible spending account and health savings account, paid leaves (including 16 weeks new parent leave, up to 20 paid days bereavement leave), 10 annual paid sick days, 10 or more annual paid vacation days based on level, 5 personal days, 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays, 401k with a best-in-class company match, deferred compensation for eligible roles, fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities, eligibility for tuition reimbursement, gender-inclusive benefits and many more.

  Pay Ranges

  Purchase, New York: $178,000 - $284,000 USD

  San Francisco, California: $186,000 - $296,000 USD
