As an Enterprise Master Data Management & Data Quality Director for Royal Caribbean, you will have responsibility for leading the implementation of our Master and Reference Data Management as well as the data quality programs. In addition, you will provide ongoing management and oversight for master and reference data in support of business needs.
You Will Be Responsible For
Evaluate and drive data management processes (i.e., define best practices and processes to support efficiencies within customer, products, and vendor data management)Lead the strategy for multi-domain MDM solutionsLead the technical solution design and the development to create a single source of truth via the MDM solutionsIdentify and define the right strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectivelyTrack team's progress, identify risks, issues and highlight to the project manager and leadership proactivelyLead and grow a team of managers as well as MDM and DQ engineers and analystsCommunicate the technical dependencies to the concerned teams and establish coordination for seamless implementation of the individual componentsLead and manage the team on the MDM specific activities such as defining the cleansing rules, survivorship, match rules, etc.Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for development, QA, and production support for the MDM platformDrive the roadmap for Guest MDM modernizationDrive the strategy and roadmap for other data entities MDM solutions e.g. Supplier, product etc.Ensure operational resiliency on MDM solutionsMature the data quality team and frameworkExpand data quality practices to all entities across the enterprise data platforms
Key Responsibilities
Implement master data management standards, enforce data governance procedures and ensure data integrity across multiple platformsManage data migration requirements and processesHelp craft and execute enterprise MDM strategyProvide thought leadership and direction to the tech leads and developersPerforms all other duties and special assignments as assignedDesign, document and maintain data processes and flows across Master Data Management (MDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systemsAssist with business process mapping, data modeling, data mapping, and data visualization for product-related data initiativesDevelop and measure metrics-focused on data quality for Data Analytics and application integrationHelp evolve the enterprise data and analytics strategy and execute it within the DQ and MDM domainsCollaborate with Data Governance, Data Engineering and other team to increase data quality across enterprise data platforms
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA in Information Management, Computer/Information Science, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or other related fields; or equivalent experience15+ years of Master Data Management and Data Quality experience, experience within a travel and tourism environment is preferred. Master Data Experience should include an expert level of understanding of Customer Master, Supplier Master, Product Master, Vendor Master, Products, spare parts etc.Exposure to data governance platform (Informatica, Collibra, Alation, etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Science or Business AdministrationRelevant technical and process certifications10+ years leadership experience within IT Operations; at least 5 years as a DirectorExceptional leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, lead, coach, motivate and work through others to achieve desired resultsExperience in project planning, implementation, and management of MDM and Data Quality technology
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities, and can perform exceptionally under high stress conditions. Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Active Directory management, Group Policy, Deployment tools, Telecom systems, and Windows Server technology.
