  Position Overview

  As the Director of Digital Strategy for North America, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Beam Suntory North America through a digital transformation. You will work with global Digital Transformation Management Office (Digital TMO) and Global IT teams to execute our digital roadmap, including project management of near-term priorities such as data governance, tech stack, and omni-marketing capabilities and longer-term capabilities such as next-generation business intelligence. Reporting to the Vice President of North America Strategy, you will collaborate with teams across North America as well as the Digital TMO to drive our digital aspirations forward and improve the business.

Impact: Drive a variety of high-impact, high-profile strategy projects to introduce new digital tools and transform the way we do business Strategy Development: Evaluate and develop recommendations for executing priorities on digital roadmap in partnership with Digital TMO; Develop storyboards and presentations for digital projects, adapting for varying levels within the organization (e.g., sales team vs. executive leadership) Project Management: Generate end to end visibility of the roll-out of digital roadmap priorities for key North America leaders, collaborating with global teams to manage overall governance and driving alignment/support for digital tools being embedded into how we operate the business. Senior-Leader exposure: Regular communication with, and presentation to, senior level audience, including North America and Global executive leadership teams Complex Problem-Solving: Opportunity to structure a clear process to address an ambiguous question/objective, and how to influence without authority Stakeholder Management: Positioned to influence and interact closely with every business function (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal) providing clear visibility to how broader groups can leverage digital tools to work together effectively Leadership / People Management: Oversee Digital Strategy Manager, leveraging their skillset to drive digital agenda while aiding in their development process Professional Development: The team is built and led by former management strategy consultants and is focused on building successful leaders. This role could be an entrée to a number of different positions within Beam, or could be an impactful transition from consulting into a fast-paced corporate environment Role Responsibilities Strategy Development: Evaluate and develop recommendations for executing priorities on digital roadmap. Priorities include initiatives across analytics, digital marketing, and digital commerce Develop storyboards and presentations for digital projects adapting for varying levels within the organization (e.g., sales team vs. executive leadership) Analysis & Insights: Identify elements required for success across digital initiatives based on analysis of what has or has not driven success among competitors / in the marketplace Measure impact of digital initiatives once in flight, leveraging data to identify and clearly communicate areas for improvement over time Act as source of expertise on digital business practices in consumer goods companies Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, IT and other cross-functional counterparts to ensure quality of recommendations and successful implementations Ensure sync up of North America digital progress with global Digital Transformation Management Office Provide additional support for commercial team as the end-users of the majority of upcoming digital initiatives Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of graduating experience in a top tier management consulting firm with a focus on digital business practices or digital strategy role Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry (e.g., the three-tier system) is a plus Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L and ROI basics Project/Process Management: Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish Presentation Effectiveness: Ability to translate insights into structured presentations that highlight key takeaways; Ability to present effectively to senior audiences Stakeholder Management: Ability to see situations and anticipate reactions from multiple stakeholders and perspectives, crafting communications and leading discussions in a thoughtful manner that has the appropriate detail for the audience/stakeholders Advanced Business Analytics: Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data set to inform decision making Salary Range

  The salary range for this role is a base salary of $160,000- $200,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate's location, experience and skillset
