Our Strategy and Business Excellence team develops and deploys the Global Product Development and Supply strategy, driving connectivity between the broader enterprise. The organization provides standard capabilities across strategy, digital, operational excellence, risk management, business development, and others. The Digital Transformation and Innovation team within Strategy and Business Excellence enables clear definition & shape formulation of the Digital Strategy. The team drives the digital roadmap implementation and governance. Position Summary
The Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) organization is going through an evolution to enable more reliable and consistent delivery of medicines to patients faster. As part of this evolution, GPS needs to become a Digital First organization; adopting Digital as the core enabler to how it operates by leveraging the best of technology, data, analytics, business processes and people to achieve improved business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be an experienced product manager who can walk the line between user feedback and technical feasibility, thrives in ambiguity, has moderate technical acumen with strong analytical skills and an ability to work across all levels of an organization. The Director will report to the Senior Director, GPS Digital Transformation and will serve as a partner across decision intelligence activities both within and outside of the Digital Transformation organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of a decision intelligence platform (and products) that meet the needs of our customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery
Relentlessly focus on the customer, ensuring delightful user experience for all personas (data scientists, end users, etc.) · Facilitate more efficient business decisions, cost savings and data literacy through the build and enhancement of the platform and its products.
Build consensus through the facilitation of productive discussions, ensuring all voices are heard and understood
Demonstrate collaboration and proactiveness in various projects and responsibilities dedicated to the digital transformation team. Embrace “No task is too big or small” mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, information systems, engineering, or similar discipline required
8+ years of experience in the digital or data science product management space
Demonstrated enthusiasm and energy to help transform organizations, with tenacity/perseverance for leading change
Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology (Agile transformation experience preferred)
Proven track record of driving innovation and growth through digital transformation, using design thinking, rapid prototyping and other innovation methodologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
