Role Value Proposition:

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the ongoing execution of risk activities supporting the risk framework within the Global Customer Service & Operations Risk Management organization in Global Technology & Operations (GTO) and influence how the organization views risk. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and other corporate functions, including Global Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Compliance in the evolution and ongoing execution of the framework. The Global Customer Service & Operations Risk Management organization is focused on the assessment and monitoring of risk within Global Customer Service & Operations and understanding how the risk landscape continues to evolve over time to ensure that the risk framework is continually addressing emerging risk.
Key Responsibilities:
· Own the process for conducting quality assurance, data analytics, and supporting data submission from various sources for entry/implementation in OpenPages tool
· Synthesize data, determine data relevance, and implement into ongoing data management practices
· Become SME on GCSO PRC data and OpenPages functionality
· Own GCSORM data quality assurance/evaluation program
· Drive GCSO data clean-up initiatives withing OpenPages
· Proactively work to identify data trends and other risk indicators
· Identify, develop, and implement ongoing data analytics routines, prioritizing use of data analytics tools
· Develop process to support GCSORM team in the review and manipulation of GCSO PRC and issues data
· Single point of contact for all GCSO data in OpenPages
· Drive GCSO content in enterprise data taxonomy or data hierarchy projects
· Identify and collaborate on data solutions to achieve team objective
· Proactively develop effective and efficient solutions to data needs
· Identify and develop ongoing methods for data manipulation and management
· Identify the actions needed to move from analysis of data in concept to use in real world application
· Drive strong relationships with Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Global Customer Service & Operations regional partners, and other GTO partners as appropriate
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required :
10+ years professional experience in a large complex organization, including 3+ years of experience with OpenPages or similar GRC tools/technology, and experience applying risk management principles and taxonomies
Self-starter with ability to autonomously identify areas for engagement/work
Experience with Alteryx or similar data analytics tools
Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and determine data relevance
· Ability to quickly understand new data analytics tools and practically apply to our environment
· Experience in identifying opportunities for data analysis
· Experience with analyzing data sets to support control testing activities
· Experience in QA of process, risk, control data, with understanding of the linkage between taxonomy and data hierarchy
· Advanced Excel skills

Preferred:

The wage range for applicants for this position is $96,000 to $161,800. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
