Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Director, Data Integrity! This position can be located any J&J Innovative Medicine site, with a preference for New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
The Director Data Integrity & Governance for Innovative Medicine role is responsible for setting the data integrity strategic direction and governance. They will own and lead the establishment and implementation of a Global data integrity strategy and deployment across the product lifecycle end-to-end, investment budget, execution oversight and advancement of organizational capabilities.
Strategy: The incumbent will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive strategy and operational plan to deploy fit for purpose data integrity quality processes and drive a fit-for-future process ownership vision, define strategic vision and roadmap, ensure funding support through Long Range Financial and Business Planning and lead execution of the strategy across R&D Quality/Operations, Supply Chain/Technical Operations, Commercial Operations and Quality.
In this role, the Director will identify a roadmap to deliver the strategy and will deploy innovative practices and tools that help the organization implement data integrity business practice (ie: data mapping and governance) toward data integration optimization and control. This role is key to developing and delivering a risk-based framework and its sustainability across Innovative Medicine. This role will work across all Functions in Innovative Medicine, and partner with leadership to ensure global processes are coordinated within the Quality Management System and Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integrity Lead and Global Process Owner.
Responsible for Data Integrity roadmap and deployment strategy (training, communication, organizational change).
Build supporting infrastructure (Governance, Networks, Communities, …) across all Global Processes, and working within Innovative Medicine functions.
Responsible for the design and maintenance of the Data Governance framework.
Accountable for the global process and procedural framework, assessments, implementing risk-based approach and control strategy.
Identify appropriate measures, track and trend and identify areas of opportunity on data integrity risk.
Work with functions on any data integrity compliance issues.
Build and Chair the Innovate Medicine Data Integrity Council and collaborate with other councils.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required with a focus in technical/quantitative field (e.g. engineering, sciences, information technology, digital) preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
10 years experience in Quality Management Systems and/or Operations Management, experience in Data Integrity concepts and deployment
Strong leader establishing clear strategy that can inspire others to deliver and influence to lead change across the organization
Experience in supporting Quality & Compliance organizations on their management systems journey.
Proven track record of partnership, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and across sophisticated ecosystems
Outstanding communications skills (including articulating product vision, inspiring teams, and presenting to senior executives).
Strong project management, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Excellent partner management and networking skills
Experience leading and implementing change strategies
Experience leading complex projects
Financial Savvy
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
Strong planning and interpersonal skills and priority setting
Proven track record working in a global environment
People management experience
Ability to translate vision and strategy into executable outcomes
Preferred:
Previous experience with budget, resource management and capacity planning
Data & Analytics / Digital Quality / Validation experience
Good understanding of GxP and Computerized System Validation requirements
Experience in manufacturing environment
Experience in leading diverse, muti-disciplinary teams (direct and indirect)
Operational experience
Process excellence certification (e.g. SixSigma, LEAN, or PEX green or black belt)
Other:
Travel - 20% to J&J Innovative site and global locations
This position has an estimated annual salary of 142,000-284,000 USD$
