Job Summary
Responsible for strategic planning, oversight and operational management of credit and collections functions for all Rentokil Terminix customers including National and Non-national. Objective of this role is to implement effective collection strategies to maximize collection of outstanding payments due to Rentokil Terminix and implement initiatives and projects to enhance collection capabilities and success. This role will support monitoring and improving timing of customer payments and processes to ensure payments from customers. Provide leadership of internal projects for continuous automation, process improvements, and productivity gains.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic leadership for Commercial and Residential customer collections functions for a North American AR portfolio exceeding $500 millionResponsible for teams' work distribution and managing day-to-day priorities for which customer accounts require attentionLeads team responsible for reports of billing, rebates, customer administration to the National Accounts team and Strategic Accounts ManagersDrive root cause analysis and resolution for non payment and cash allocation issues and direct team to implement collectionsDirects cross functional team efforts with Customer Admin teams (National and Non National) and Special Billing teams for problem resolutionSet and monitor collection function goals for team members, improving their performance, managing team compensation and bonusesResponsible for hiring and staffing decisions with budget responsibilitySupport VP with strategy development for write offs, services holds and steps for remediationLead team that identifies recommendations and provide leadership to resolve customer nonpayment issues, write off for uncollectible, service hold for non-payment, and other issuesManages customer relationships for large strategic commercial accounts to identify and resolve billing and payment issuesEstablish KPIs that measure and drive function performanceAdvises on journal entries and/or accruals, especially bad debt and revenue relatedReview and approve bad debt write offsReview and approve National Accounts contract deposits, billing method, and payment termsPartner with Operations and CSC to resolve customer issues preventing paymentsInteract with operations teams to resolve regional issues through regional relationshipsDevelop and execute strategy for collection (determining timing, exceptions, contract adjustments)Set strategic direction and execute migration of collection process for acquired companiesOversight for training and testing for new companiesResponsible for HR processes related to collectionsLead and prioritize internal projects for optimizing and improving processes and ad hoc reportingSet strategic direction and goals for 3rd party collection agency relationships and data sharingManage forecasted monthly write off and payment resolution processesPartner with teams across the organization to effectuate customer payments and resolve process gaps in the collection cycleResponsible for staffing team and hiring decisions

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

Base pay range: $120000-$165000/year
Annual Earning Potential: $150000 - $206300 / year
In addition to the base pay, a Colleague working in this role who has completed training may be eligible to earn additional monetary compensation including overtime, incentive and/or commission pay. Total annual earning potential may vary based on performance, assigned routes and achieving Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs").
