IWMS uses the Salesforce platform as its Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and as a key driver of the associate experience for sales, relationship management, consulting & client service teams. IWMS considers Salesforce a key strategic asset & capability.
As a CRM Business Architect, you will bring expertise on the Salesforce ecosystem and connect that to strategic business initiatives requiring CRM capabilities. You will partner with business leaders and communicate their business vision, purpose, and objective to squad leaders and technology partners within and outside the CRM product area. You will own the process by building user journeys, capability mapping and collaborating with squad leaders for delivery. By acting as the main interface between end users, CRM squad members, partner domains and the technology organization, you will use your skills to influence a matrixed project team!
There are three primary principles of being an effective Business Architect:
Strategy: Identifying the problem or the "why" and aligning it to the missionExecution: What business capabilities are needed and how best to bring to bear the best of the Salesforce platformBusiness Readiness: How do you drive new Salesforce capabilities to launch and ensure ongoing adoption and user engagement
The Team
The CRM Enablement product area sits in the Fund and Brokerage Operations and Technology (FBOT) organization supporting CRM users in Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) and Fidelity Institutional (FI). The Business Architect role reports into the product area leader and is a shared resource across all CRM squads. This role partners closely with the technical lead and technical architect to build scalable solutions using the Salesforce ecosystem.
The Expertise & Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree required10+ years business architecture/ business analysis / product management, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams.3+ years Salesforce platform experienceJira and Jira Align experience preferredProven leadership in various business analysis methodology skills and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, persona mapping, and product documentationBusiness Capability Mapping - Extensive experience in enterprise business capability modeling and analysis - both current and target state - and making recommendations to business partnersAbility to facilitate diverse groups of people to move towards solutions while influencing key decision makers based on analysis findingsExceptional communication & Influence skills
