The Credit Director position will oversee and manage the Credit and Chargeback teams to include training, monitoring staff portfolio of accounts, produce and work with aging reports, minimize bad debt exposure, and identify process improvement opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce past due receivables.
This position is responsible for the credit processes to include, creditworthiness assessment, and periodic reviews for a portfolio of customers, lead the Credit / Chargeback teams collaboration with sales in a flexible, customer centric approach to support company growth objectives and to participate in Sales Meetings and meetings with Executive Leadership

Responsibilities
Oversee the overall Credit and Collections function as an organization, direct staff and activities on income from product sales.
Collaborate with top management to set operational standards and contribute essential information to strategic plans.
Researching and assessing the creditworthiness of business partners, customers, and counterparties, including financial analysis, determine credit ratings and limits, and high-quality.
Monitor each AR portfolio for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities that directly effects cash flow and DSO.
Minimize bad debt exposure maintaining the aging at acceptable levels by driving accountability of the team to resolve open items.
Assist in the month end closing process, including the running and preparation of month end A/R reports.
Interact regularly with other internal departments to provide the highest level of customer service.
Ensure that established SOX compliancy standards are met.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external customers.
Develop monthly and year end goals and objectives for credit and chargeback team.
Required Skills/Education
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business management
10+ years Credit Management experience preferably within a publicly traded organization
Experience building and leading teams
Strong experience using SAP, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong and effective analytical, communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Salary and Benefits:
120,000 to 135,000 depending on experience
