PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
Lead the creative operations and project management of the Estée Lauder and AERIN Beauty brands in North America with the goal of developing regionally relevant and elevate creative assets.
• Project manage the creation and modification of omni-channel assets for product and seasonal launches, visual merchandising, store design, consumer engagement social and eventing.
• Lead timelines and job assignment for Creative and across cross-functional teams.
• Work as a bridge between North American and Global Creative/Global Creative Operations
• Manage and mentor the Creative Operations team of staff and freelance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Managing the company's brand identity through strategic planning, design, and implementation of marketing campaigns.
• Support, lead and implement consistent processes and best practices across all channels and influence leadership..
• Create and own a master tracking system, timelines, and creative reviews for all 360° programs for the NA Estée Lauder brand.
• Manage North America 360° campaigns partnering NA and Global to ensure all partners are aware of timelines and approvals to keep programs on track.
• Manage all points of contact with Creative Agencies regarding contracts, budgets, deliverables, due dates, approvals, and correspondence.
• Elevate risk/budget implications on large-scale programs to Senior Management. Provide suggested solutions and options.
• Understand and manage the budget and deal with revised timetables and supplemental estimates when program changes impact dates and costs.
• Oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process, including approval of copy, layout, art, mechanical, translations, blueprints and receipt of printed samples.
• Partner with Global Creative Operations and Creative, Consumer Engagement, Visual Merchandising and Store Design to outline needs, timing, and delivery of Global assets for use across all channels.
• Project management of Co-Op approval process ensuring timelines are met with cross-functional partners including Global Promotions, Global Creative Operations and NA Account Management and Trade Marketing teams and external vendors (retailers/production vendors).
• Lead management of both seasonal launches and promotional updates for NA.
• Partner with cross-functional teams inclusive of Marketing, Account Management and Sales & Education to manage projects aligned against business goals, ultimately driving development and implementation of assets that support strategic priorities as outlined by the region.
• Project manage development of NA led Consumer Engagement requests.
• Manage workflow and schedules for programs based upon volume, deadlines, and priorities.
• Manage the creative operations team of staff and freelance.
• Lead Creative Project Status meeting and send Weekly Status Report on all open project requests to cross-functional partners.
• Conduct Project Kick-Off meetings with cross-functional partners weekly to review all new Project Request Forms submitted to ensure all project requestor, designer, and writer are aligned on vision and estimated timing.
• Facilitate relationships between teams, moving process forward, finding resources, reworking schedules, raising concerns to appropriate owner's early and resolving open issues that prevent progress.
• Research vendors of diversity for both pricing, quality, and timing for all print collateral.
• Lead meeting agendas and issue meeting recaps outlining next steps, timing, task owners.
• Oversee coordination for photo and video shoots (i.e., product comps, props, etc.)
• Demonstrate the ability to consistently elevate the infrastructure and operations of the creative department to increase timelines and communications, while supporting the creative process.
• Manage and help develop Project Manager of Creative team - oversee the management of:
• Timelines of Open-Sell graphics by retailer from setting kick-off meetings through to release of graphics to printer with comprehensive distribution list.
• Approval tracking on all Creative work
• Intakes and tracks all Project Request Forms
• Raise awareness of heavy workload on Creative team leadership to help mitigate issues to backlog/release dates when needed.
• Attend marketing meetings, and/or assigned department related status meetings.
• Flexible yet focused on end goal results.
• Thrives with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
• • Position requires 8+ years relevant work experience in a traffic/operations environment.
• This position has been designated as a hybrid role with a minimum 3 days in the NYC office.
• Beauty and/or agency experience preferred.
• Experience managing, hiring, and mentoring a team preferred.
• Well versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Quick calm problem solver.
• Positive, helpful attitude.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all cross-functional partners, while representing the department with a professional and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Experience building scopes of work, analyzing creative briefs to ensure all information is entered.
• Ability to engage key stakeholders and gain respect with cross-functional partners.
• Takes full ownership and accountability for proper planning, oversight, and execution of project assignments.
• Expert communicator and cool under multiple high-pressure deadlines.
• Willingness to refine processes in an operational creative environment.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Adobe Creative Suites is a plus.
• Experience with Wrike or similar Project Management platforms.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
