Position Summary
Nightingale Foundation seeks a driven individual with strong corporate relations experience or corporate sales/business development skills to lead corporate and community fundraising efforts as the Director of Community and Corporate Relations nationwide. This role will design, articulate, manage, and execute on a comprehensive community and corporate fundraising plan that meets annual and long-term fundraising goals. This role is responsible for creating corporate and community connections to increase funding available through scholarship programming for Nightingale College's learners.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Identify, cultivate, and lead the solicitation of corporate partners for five- and six-figure, multi-year financial commitments.
Establish, organize, and implement solicitation and cultivation strategies through community leaders and new corporate business relationships. fun
Identify new and creative opportunities for corporate partnerships and support. Devise and facilitate strategy for securing support, including partner-related travel schedule. Ensure that proposals are submitted on time and follow-up proactively on pending proposals.
Develop a comprehensive short and long-term corporate partnership fundraising strategy by tailoring specific goals to established corporate partners as well as new funders.
Cross collaborate with Nightingale College, Nightingale Solutions, and Nightingale Education Group to executive on collective goals.
Participate in budget planning, goal setting, and strategic planning to assist with the creation of the development team's annual operating plans.
Maintain corporate partner records in system of record.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
General Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
A minimum of 5 years in corporate sales, business development, or a related field; or non-profit corporate philanthropy.
An innovative and proactive approach to corporate and community relations.
Strong leader with demonstrated success working productively as a team member. The ability to inspire collaboration and teamwork within the Foundation Team, across other departments, and with internal and external leadership.
Exceptional organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with great attention to detail.
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
Ability to find the shared interests between our donors and the Foundation and to translate these into partnerships.
Ability to leverage Nightingale Foundation's relationships in the corporate community
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
