About Corporate Development:
The Intel Corporate Development team is the focal point of all of Intel's Inorganic initiatives, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures, Joint Ventures, Strategic Transactions, and transformational growth opportunities, from pipeline management and deal sourcing to managing the entire life cycle of deals from ideation and exploration to signing and closing. The Corporate Development team serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to executive leadership and business unit GMs to proactively understand and influence existing business strategies and growth initiatives. This includes partnering with BUs and Corporate Strategy team to identify inorganic opportunities to accelerate strategy or fill gaps; developing business cases in partnership with BU stakeholders; construction of deal concepts; and, execution of highly complex Corporate Development transactions. Corporate Development team members will often lead broad, multi-functional matrixed senior teams that are assembled to work on specific transaction projects.
About the Role:
The Director of Corporate Development will partner with the Vice President of Corporate Development and the Corporate Development Senior Leadership Team to enable the company-wide execution and integration of Intel's inorganic strategies in close alignment with the business units and the Corporate Strategy team. This individual will work closely with Corporate Development and Business Unit Leadership to assure a world-class execution in support of Intel's strategic inorganic growth.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively across all relevant organizations and teams to successfully drive Corporate Development transactions for major business unit(s), through the entire deal flow process, that enable the company's growth strategy.Support the execution of Corporate level strategic transactions from initial strategy development through deal execution. Drives complex transactions, including private or public acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures from deal conception to closure with companies which positively and significantly impact the business bottom line and/or competitive position.Serve as point of contact with a range of counterparties, including tech company executives, venture capital and private equity investors, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, lawyers and other advisors / stakeholders.Work closely with the Strategy Team to tightly align inorganic activity with the Company's long-term strategyConduct after action reviews, develop case studies, and document playbooks/lessons learned to create a culture of continuous improvement and learningMatrix-manage and/or participate in cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Legal and other functional departments) to ensure a successful deal process, closing and initial transition for newly acquired employeesPrepare detailed reports and presentations describing the key attributes of growth opportunities and target acquisitionsWork collaboratively with finance and product leaders to prepare and analyze financial models for potential acquisitions and growth opportunitiesOrganize and conduct initial due diligence on potential acquisition targetsMonitor financial performance of acquired companies for up to three years post close and prepare reports describing actual performance against deal commitmentsOrganize and conduct initial due diligence on potential acquisition targetsProvide guidance and support for the Integration process from deal planning thru post close to insure delivery of acquisition model commitmentsDrive projects and serve as representative team member for a variety of ad-hoc strategic projects and initiativesParticipate in the preparation of periodic status reports for the CFO, CSO, CEO, and Board of Directors

Qualifications
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred8+ years of Mergers and Acquisitions related experience in a large-scale multinational company with established track record of executing numerous significant Mergers and Acquisitions transactions in the Hardware and Semiconductor technology domains

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $205,460.00-$328,930.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
