Mars Pet Nutrition is embarking on a significant global change programme to achieve our bold 2030 ambitions. Communicating this vision and engaging Associates in our new strategic priorities will be essential to the successful delivery of our change programme and is the responsibility of the Global Strategic Business Communications team in Mars Pet Nutrition. This role begins Q2 2024 and ends 31st December 2026, due to the transformation project.
At the same time, Mars Pet Nutrition is in the process of step changing its global approach to Strategic Business Communications, supporting, and driving the Mars Pet Nutrition culture and business forward by ensuring all Associates have the right information at the right time. Part of this includes supporting the Digital Transformation.
This role will be a crucial part of Mars Pet Nutrition's Global Strategic Business Communications team, supporting and leading in a Transformation role as part of The TIGG approved investment in the Transformation specific team (TFT). This role begins Q2 2024 and ends Q4 2026. In this role you will be working on a range of communications channels including newsletters, leadership meetings and in-person events, as well as generating engaging and inspiring communications on a variety of complex topics that achieve cut-through among our globally diverse Associate population related to the Digital Transformation (TFT).
The pandemic created a remarkable boom in pet adoption, which led to a boom in pet parenthood around the world. This enabled strong growth for our businesses, and also increased the need to pioneer digital services, tools and experiences to meet this moment for pets and pet parents. As we work to build A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS™ and pet parents, we are embarking on a digital transformation journey within Mars Pet Nutrition. Accordingly, the Corporate Affairs team is seeking an agile and creative addition to the team who is a great thought leader, people leader, and strategic communicator.
The role will report into the Senior Director of Internal Communications and partner closely with key stakeholders across the business, including the Transformation Investment Governance Group (TiGG) and Data Analytics team help empower tomorrow's digital transformation within Pet Nutrition. This includes enabling a demand strategy and E2E next gen supply chain, powered by data and analytics, ERP; while digitally upskilling the organization.
What will be your key responsibilities?

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferredMinimum 15 years' experienceMinimum 5 years leading and managing scale regional or global programsBreadth and depth of consulting experience (whether internal or external or both) and in particular across large, global transformational programsDemonstrated deep experience in program development, program management, change management, roadmap development and strategy execution across variety of topics and situationsDemonstrated strength in establishing and reinforcing structure and process at global or regional levels and across several large, complex, interdependent initiativesSignificant cross-functional experience, across variety of functions and levelsStrong experience with globally dispersed teamsExperience working in or with consumer-facing industries highly preferredExperience with risk management, initiative prioritization or governance structuresPlease note that taking this role must be fully dedicated to the transformation.
