Job Description Visa is currently seeking a Director FSS Controllership Systems to play a critical role in the support of ERP applications. The role will be part of the Finance Systems Strategy (FSS) leadership team and is responsible for leading projects in Controllership, Sourcing and Tax.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with multiple Finance and Technology leaders to set the systems strategy for the Controllership, Sourcing and Tax area and partner with business and IT teams to execute projects.
Lead the ERP systems (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Procurement) functional teams to support Requirements capture, Functional Design, Testing, and UAT coordination.
Solve issues and redesign processes using extensive Financial Systems expertise, a broad background in ERP technologies and deep understanding of the functional and technical aspects of Oracle EBS application.
Build relationships and Influence change by exercising excellent organization and leadership skills, business and systems analysis, critical thinking, understanding of internal controls, and effective communication skills.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD10+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry, with industry ERP systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Oracle eBusiness, SAP), working with Financials systems providing Functional support, Analysis, or Architecture.Experience with Accounting and Ledger design, Sub-ledger to GL integration, reconciliation, and controls and in translating accounting requirements for system implementation.ERP product implementations and project management experience with a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices.Experience through all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and go-live migration).Proven analytical and reporting experience with Finance Systems within a global organization, in addition to exceptional conceptual, analytical and process mapping skills.In-depth Accounting knowledge is a plus.Be self-motivated to lead and motivate others, detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Possess organizational and problem-solving skills, time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.• Can collaborate with offshore vendors and resources spread out globally.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and the ability to communicate and work directly with business leaders across Finance and Technology.Independent judgment and mature decision-making skills to work on projects that often have enterprise-wide scope and may have significant financial and compliance impacts.Previous consulting experience is beneficial, or practice in driving strategic direction across multiple lines of business.Experience with reporting systems (e.g., OBIEE, Cognos, Tableau, etc.) is beneficial. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,000.00 to 212,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
