DescriptionThe Director of Commercial Analytics is responsible for developing and executing the advanced analytics strategy, frameworks, and methodologies for the U.S. Clinical Operations teams. EnsuresCommercial Analytics team provides strategic business insights and actionable recommendations insupportthe product portfolio and brand objectives.Primary Duties:
Manages the strategy, design, development, and maintenance of commercial analytics platform.Identify the right infrastructure and tools for advanced analytics solution delivery.Ensure timely delivery of data and proactively manage project timelines and deliverables.Understand the algorithms/methodologies related implications of analytics solutions and assist in defining the solutions to support any future business requirements.Manage expectations on timing and scope of project work, including budget and financial impact.Lead discussions with commercial analytics team and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data analytics concepts can be applied to real-world business opportunities.Recommend visualizations of data that empower key business stakeholders to easily interpret complex information and quickly identify key insights.Mentor, coach, and develop talent of Commercial Data Analytics team.Provide support for business continuity of Commercial Data Analytics team.Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure of Commercial Analytics.Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.Performs other duties as assignedTraining and Education:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related field. Master's degree is preferred.Experience:
8+ years experience and proven track record in leading advanced analytics.
2+ years of direct managerial experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Deep expertise in the relevant technology systems and architectures
Experience with data infrastructure scoping and solution designExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsHave extensive data analysis skills to gather and manipulate data to gain insights into trends, patterns and relationships.Ensure the collection, organization, analysis and interpretation of data is thorough and accurate.Experience working with and leading sales and commercial analytics teams and systems.Approx. 10% domestic travelPlease be aware that recruitment related scams are on the rise.
