  Minimum qualifications:

  15 years of experience in a sales/business development function.

  10 years of experience selling IT solutions to companies.

  10 years of experience leading and scaling teams in a business intelligence, data analytics, or SaaS environment.

  Preferred qualifications: Experience with C-level engagement and network Experience with sales success Leadership experience, growing and scaling sales organizations

  Technical knowledge and experience in cloud computing

  Thought leader with an understanding of the cloud, SAAS, and productivity/collaboration space

  About the job

  As the Director of Cloud Business Intelligence (BI), you will serve in a highly visible leadership position to scale the Cloud BI Business across the globe. You will be responsible for the success and growth of our growing customer base across our scaled, enterprise, corporate, and select business segments.

  In this role, you will lead and drive a highly skilled overlay sales team that assists our core field sellers in driving BI products and solutions that solve customer issues and drive business growth for Google Cloud. You will use an understanding of market and customer approaches and techniques to effectively coach individual sellers, managers, and managers of managers. Sales teams will span all geographies and industries, will cross digital native and traditional business, and will span corporate and enterprise segments.

  You will be a Senior Leader, building and scaling sales organizations, and will operate at the C-level, with a passion for nurturing customers. You will have a growth mindset, be comfortable with ambiguity, and operate in a matrixed environment. You will be a thought leader for Google's innovation in the Data Analytics space and will leverage this knowledge to become a trusted advisor to large and medium-sized customers.

  The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$282,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  Responsibilities

  Develop, advance, and close business pipelines for Cloud BI bookings and business.

  Own C-level relationships with our customers. Manage teams that are focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.

  Attract, hire, and develop talent to build scale.

  Create alignment across multiple functions with Marketing, Customer Engineer Managers, and partners. Align with Data Analytics Product Engineering teams.

  Serve as a key contributor to the Data Analytics Sales Leadership team and the Specialist Sales Google Cloud Leadership team.
