As the Director of Channel Marketing - Prestige Brands, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of effective channel marketing strategies to maximize sales and brand visibility for Beam Suntory. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Market Commercialization and Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across customer channels, both on- and off-premise. Leveraging your expertise in marketing, consumer behavior, and industry trends, you will lead a team to guide the strategy, execution standards, and programming that strengthen our brand presence and drives category performance.
Role Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive channel marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, aimed at increasing market penetration, brand visibility, and revenue growth across different distribution channels Utilize market research, consumer behavior analysis, and sales data to gain deep insights into target audience preferences and purchasing habits Provide complete marketing briefs from the channel perspective to commercial marketing team to utilize in asset creation Assist to establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of channel marketing initiatives, analyzing results and making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement Own the performance of marketing initiatives across the Prestige channel, serving as the expert for any channel-focused questions from leadership Collaborate with the Commercial Strategy, Field Marketing and Strategic Accounts teams to develop engaging, channel-specific marketing initiatives Collaborate with Shopper Insights, Commercial Strategy and Commercial Planning & Enablement to build channel-specific focus calendars and KPIs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field MBA preferred 8+ years of experience across marketing and field sales roles within the alcoholic beverages industry or related consumer goods industries Proven ability to develop and execute successful channel marketing strategies that drive business growth and market expansion Strong leadership skills Extensive project management experience, including ability to manage multiple projects at once In-depth understanding of the alcoholic beverages market, including key distribution channels, market dynamics, and emerging trends Ability to synthesize data and insights into simplified execution strategy Team-player with proven track-record to work across multiple teams Travel up to 25% of time Exceptional presentation and communication - written and verbal - skills The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $150,000-170,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
