About the Role
What does it mean to be a Innovative Medicines Advanced Therapies Product Lead in Novartis, Data & Digital IT?
You will be leading and international team, spread across multiple locations, working together and supporting each other. You will be responsible to lead a team delivering solutions for Cell Therapies, Gene Therapies and Radioligand Therapies (collectively known as Advanced Therapies), with a budget from 10M to 40M per year. You'll service as the strategic advisor and interface between the therapeutic areas and partner with multiple Novartis IT functions, engage with a variety of vendors to deliver complex and strategic programs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Develops strategic capability for Advanced Therapies for Innovative Medicines (IM) with end-to-end accountability to create product/services roadmaps from concept to development to launch encompassing technology adoption, product engineering, service design, security and compliance and business process change.
- Focus and align efforts with the Business strategy and DDIT strategy and legal/regulatory requirements
- Serves as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and decisions
- Acts as trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities and relevant project/product information with both business leaders and colleagues across DD&IT
- Approves strategic and investment plans for the Advanced Therapy portfolio, Partners with business leadership and other key business leaders to shape global business demand, with strong financial management
- Proactively shares knowledge of technology risks with business
- Demonstrated program management skills in building and maintaining complex program plans
- Decides on the product/program timeline, governance, and deployment strategy
- Leads and guides the Product team of 12+ associates
- Decides on continuous improvement within the team

Role Requirements
What you'll need:
• University master's degree or equivalent and 15+ years of management experience
• Demonstrated ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with senior business leaders in a matrixed environment
• Demonstrated experience leading large and/or diverse multi-functional teams
• Leading large and/or diverse multi-functional teams, Organization Scope, Scale and Complexity, Functional Breadth, Major Change, People Leadership, Collaborating across boundaries, track record delivering global solutions at scale, Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment, Financial Management
• Proven track record of Advanced Therapies or equivalent including personalized medicine in pharma industry
• Proven experience in solving for complex Patient and HCP solutions both in US and Global
• Background and experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry desired
• Solid experience working with vendors, right industry partners including vendor negotiation and monitoring of service delivery
• Good knowledge of Financial Management, Change Management and Reporting
• Proficiency in English (oral & written)
