About the role
The Digital Corporate Functions Teams deliver Sanofi's digital ambition to become the leading digital healthcare platform by:
Enabling the growth of Sanofi through simplification and transformation
Simplifying life of Sanofians with Best-in-Class employee experience through enhanced UI design, process simplification and automation
Modernizing our technology and processes for sustainable foundations
Main responsibilities as Data Engineer (Bridgewater, USA):
Take part in Data Analysis, Data Design and implementation of effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
Take part in the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
Collaborate in defining and supporting the implementation, measurement, and activation of data-driven use cases
Work with the Product Owners, transversal Digital teams, and business teams to create a Data Framework and Data Strategy
Contribute to improve architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
Assist in documentations and technical tasks as appropriate for various initiatives
Second assignment will be focused on building Snowflake Data Foundations for HR, GOOD Program, and other Corporate Functions which involves a combination of tasks related to data modeling, integration, security, and collaboration.
Data requirements:
Collaborate with HR, GOOD Program, and Corporate Functions stakeholders to understand their data requirements
Identify key data entities, relationships, and business rules
Data Modeling:
Design and create data models that represent the structure of HR, GOOD Program, and Corporate Functions data
Utilize Snowflake's features for schema design, including tables, views, and relationships
Data Integration:
Implement data integration pipelines to bring in data from various sources relevant to HR, GOOD Program, and Corporate Functions
Utilize Snowflake's capabilities for seamless data loading and transformation
Data Quality and Security:
Work with Sanofi quality team to enforce standards and with respective security and business teams to secure the data
Historical Data loading:
Plan and execute the loading of historical data into Snowflake, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
Develop strategies for handling incremental data updates
Collaboration:
Foster collaboration between Digital teams, data engineers, and business teams to ensure a unified approach to data management
Conduct regular meetings and workshops for alignment
Integration with Analytics & BI Tools:
Integrate Snowflake Data Foundations with analytics and business intelligence tools used within the organization
Ensure seamless data access for reporting and analysis
About you:
Master's Degree in Data Science or some other (preferrable relatable) field
Certification or completed coursework in Data Analytics, Python (preferred) or R languages, Data Science, Snowflake, AI/ML
Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
Familiarity of Data Strategy, NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Analytics, MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) would be a plus
Working in an international environment
Fluency in English
Autonomous and pragmatic, having good interpersonal skills and is able to demonstrate adaptability
Great organizational skills, rigor and analytical mind
Open-minded, team player with interest to interact on transversal topic
