Digital Strategist – Travel and Tourism
This is a remote-based position
The Digital Strategist plays a key role in meeting and exceeding team sales revenue goals, retaining client base with minimum churn and continuously growing revenue. You will primarily focus on strategy development for our major tourism accounts as well as identifying new product innovations for the organization.
In this role you will have a direct impact on meeting and exceeding team sales revenue goals by supporting our Account Executives with upsells, win-backs and new client relationships.
You will be responsible for:
Building out best-in-class digital strategies
Participating in client meetings and assisting with campaign support
Leading marketing RFP response projects
Bringing to market new product innovations, leading beta-testing and analysis as needed, and occasionally speaking to trade organizations
Digital Strategists will also actively support and coach Account Executives, assist in tactical and creative idea generation, conduct research and data analysis, develop and deliver client proposals, and lead strategy whiteboard sessions.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and experience demonstrating ability to perform the job
3+ years relevant digital marketing or sales experience required, 5+ years preferred
A proactive, creative thinker willing to play a hands-on role in marketing strategy development
Exceptional writing, presentation, project management, leadership, organizational and communication skills
The ability to educate and coach sales staff as it relates to all digital tactics and sales techniques
Strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable collaborating with all levels of management and across various departments
Experience in various tools to develop marketing strategies, measure campaign success, and identify plan optimizations (Google Analytics, Moat, SEMRush, Arrivalist, etc…)
The ability to engage and collaborate internally (with sales teams) and externally (with clients)
This job requires reliable transportation to meet with clients. Occasional travel throughout the southeast United States should be expected.
