  Work breakdown for this role:

  In this role, you will primarily focus on hands-on coding with Angular, CSS, HTML, and other related front-end technologies, which will account for approximately 80% of your time. Additionally, you will spend around 10% of your time mentoring and guiding team members, as well as reviewing code. Collaborating with front-end developers, architects, product SMEs, and other subject matter experts will be an integral part of your role, taking up approximately 10% of your time. Close collaboration with Product, UX, and multiple Engineering teams is essential to develop elegant, state-of-the-art customer experiences. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and extensive collaboration in troubleshooting complex data, features, and platform issues.

  Required Qualifications

  5+ years of strong software development experience.

  3+ years of experience in Front End development using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other FE technologies.

  3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins.

  3+ years of expertise in working with XML/JSON and/or developing RESTful Services.

  3+ years of practical knowledge and experience with Cache Datastores.

  3+ years of proficiency in working with common API formats such as JSON, XML, and WebSocket's.

  3+ years of technical prowess in designing client and server-side architectures.

  2+ years of practical experience in digital development and web-based applications.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Comfortable working with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

  Strong debugging skills to effectively identify and resolve issues.

  Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Kafka, CircleCI, and Harness for seamless integration and deployment.

  Knowledge of noSQL databases like Cassandra for efficient data management.

  Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration.

  Proficient in using code versioning tools like GitLab and GitHub for collaboration and code management.

  Previous experience in the ecommerce industry, understanding its unique challenges and requirements.

  Familiarity with agile development methodologies, with preference for experience in SAFe Agile.

  Proven track record of successful collaboration with large teams consisting of full-time employees (FTE’s) and contractors.

  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.

  Education

  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $97,335.00 - $201,900.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits. Eligible employees may enroll in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.
