About Digital Product Owner

  The Digital Product Owner will own the roadmap for the MorganStanley.com [Insights/Personalization] product(s), managing your backlog to align with our product strategy, translating business requirements into actionable user stories for our Agile delivery squad, conducting sprint and release testing, assisting with the development and implementation of privacy and analytics integrations, and actively supporting an iterative test-and-learn environment to continuously enhance our products.

  This role requires an outgoing individual who can collaborate with empathy and communicate with clarity across a matrixed team of internal digital marketing disciplines, QA and development technology, business stakeholders, and external vendors. The right candidate understands consumer website best practices and enjoys working on transformative digital products. This role reports to the VP, Digital Product Management and is a part of the Firmwide Marketing team.

  You will: *- Develop roadmap for[Insights/Personalization]* products- Partner with internal stakeholders to define key user journeys, especially the UX and tech pods in Firmwide Marketing- Own the discovery and solution for the product through continuous learning and understanding of digital best-in-class solutions- Manage product backlog: You will groom and assist in the prioritization of the MorganStanley.com backlog to support your product roadmap, with an understanding of each effort’s value proposition for different lines of business while incorporating input from various business stakeholders.- Manage the performance of your digital experience: You should be comfortable in a data-driven product environment. You will support a test-and-learn efforts by assisting with devising, launching, and assessing the impact of A/B and multivariate tests, making decisions with existing KPIs, helping to identify new ones, and responding to data with product enhancements.- Gather requirements: You will meet with various technical and non-technical stakeholders—including representatives from UX, analytics, content, front-end development, and business units— to understand their goals, translate those goals into objectives, define requirements, and present to the marketing leadership. You will also lead and participate in requirement review sessions to drive consensus across internal teams and ensure the proposed solutions align with best practices.- Write clear user stories: You will translate business goals into actionable user stories for our delivery squad, outline requirements as acceptance criteria to support build efforts by the development team and use those criteria to demonstrate value to business stakeholders. - Lead Agile ceremonies in partnership with engineering: You will participate in daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning ceremonies. You will also assist in conducting sprint demos and accept completed user stories at the end of each sprint.

  - Help drive web personalization: You will assist in the implementation, operations, analysis, and management of the personalization program on MorganStanley.com.

  You have: *4-6 years of experience as a product owner or website/systems analyst with a track record of delivering new B2C website design systems. Experience with large-scale, high-visibility product initiatives involving technical, legal, and operational governance as well as regulatory requirementsExperience in leading discovery, defining product vision, OKRs, success metrics, user journeys, capabilities, and featuresExperience working within Agile methodology, Agile ceremonies, and MVP approach to product rolloutProficiency translating high-level business goals into measurable objectives and technical requirements in an Agile development settingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability distill complex problems into discrete fixes that can be resolved iterativelyExperience collaborating with UI/UX designers, analytics teams, and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences Polished written and verbal communications to influence and drive consensus within a diverse set of business and technical stakeholdersStrong presentation skills, with ability to run a meeting and present to senior leadersExperience conducting product testing with both internal stakeholders and external usersStrong Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Familiarity with JIRA, JIVE, SharepointExperience with Adobe Experience Cloud (particularly Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics) preferredCollaborative personality, with equal interest in sharing talents as learning from othersAbility to work in a large matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders*Team Profile: *Morgan Stanley’s Firmwide Marketing Digital Product team builds the digital ecosystem for our prospects and clients through their digital channel of choice with a focus on improving customer experience, driving leads for our business, and underscoring our core values.
