What You Will Achieve
You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.
Development Solutions Delivery and Engineering holds responsibility for the delivery and operations of the aggregate data solutions (Data Lakes and Associated Portfolios) supporting Pfizer's scientific and clinical functions. The Project Delivery Lead (DL) will ensure the development, deployment and maintenance of key systems supporting the clinical development portfolio. The DL will contribute to data strategies and lead the implementation of data and analytics solutions that support this strategy.
How You Will Achieve It
Planning and overseeing the development and deployment of data systems to support R&D initiatives within clinical development and ensure that these systems adhere to Pfizer Digital technical road maps.Project, vendor and financial planning and management of clinical systemsDevising system development and maintenance strategies, demand management and immediate and long-term technical strategies for biomedicine systemsSystem Development Lifecyle compliance including audit readiness and responseSupervision of teams of contract colleaguesLeadership of matrix teams in the delivery of technical solutionsExceptional engagement with key matrixed colleagues representing architecture, data operations, technical leadership, and client representationExceptional communication with Pfizer Digital and scientific leadershipHigh aptitude for understanding, integrating, and provisioning scientific data to customersDiligence and resourcefulness to bring technical solutions to meet business objectivesFollowing the industry landscape associated with enabling scientific data systemsEnsure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management Regulatory Compliance.Ensure application changes and fixes are aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management processes.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through a high performing engagement model, including vibrant Communities of Practice.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with at five years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with three years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practicesFamiliar with product analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to customer journey, user activity, product/feature performance and other digital analyticsUnderstanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performanceKnowledge of management reporting requirements and functional designKnowledge of databases and common data integration patternsExcellent communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Master's degreeManagement consulting experienceExperience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master CertificationKnowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably clinical development

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $151,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $81,800.00 to $136,300.00.
