The Motion Control segment is on the lookout for a digitalization specialist to orchestrate the transformation of our software and services digitalization portfolio. This influential role demands a visionary approach to reshaping Siemens’ global offerings to meet and exceed the demands of the U.S. market.

We are looking for Digital/Manufacturing IoT Consultant.. This position will be based remotely anywhere within the United States.
How you’ll make an impact:
Digital Strategy and Innovation: Proactively identify and cultivate opportunities for the deployment of digital solutions, integrating state-of-the-art communications infrastructure in the industrial space.
Product Deployment Excellence: Coordinate closely with international headquarters to ensure the rollout of software products, emphasizing CNC Software Solutions to enhance our digital footprint in the U.S. market.
Customized Solutions Development: Craft bespoke dashboards and programming solutions that capitalize on available data, utilizing analytics to drive significant improvements in key performance indicators.
Insight Generation and Optimization: Analyze operational data to glean insights that enhance machine tool functionality and contribute to the strategic development of digital applications.
Marketing and Value Creation: Provide expertise to assist in the creation of marketing material that reflects the success of our digital applications, bolstering Siemens' value proposition in a competitive landscape.
Sales Enablement: Elevate the expertise of our sales force through regular digital portfolio training, ensuring a deep understanding of our products to better meet client needs.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience
At least 2 years of professional project-based experience related to the field
5+ years of overall professional
Ability to travel up to 75% domestically. International travel may be necessary but is not expected.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Candidate will need a valid US driver's license and be eligible to acquire US passport within six months due to potential requirements for secure facility identification at potential client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
A solid foundation in data analytics, network connectivity, and security protocols.
An understanding of business models and operational processes pertinent to Industry 4.0 and IIoT
Proficiency in Linux environments, command-line interfaces, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Experience querying relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.). InfluxDB or similar Time-Series Databases is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $72,380 - $124,080 . The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
