Regional Lead
This role within Digital Labs act as a P&L holder for Asia Pacific, owning sales, product and delivery for all Digital Labs engagements in the region
This role is a key customer focused role for Digital Labs which requires a confident, experienced leader with a deep understanding and experience across the digital product life cycle - digital strategy & transformation, ideation and design, rapid prototyping and product development
This person will be a lead advocate for innovation within the Mastercard customer base, serving as one of the faces of Mastercard Digital Labs externally in Asia Pacific & globally
This person will also be a lead advocate for Digital Labs within Mastercard and their success will depend on their ability to build advocacy across the diverse and complex Mastercard organisation
This role is also a line manager, managing a team of facilitators, who lead strategy and innovation engagements in the region

Responsibilities
Lead Digital Labs in the region; facing off internally and externally to customers, suppliers and colleagues
Actively manage a P&L, making pricing and operational decisions to drive profit and growth
Build and manage a pipeline of work through a matrixed organisation
Own the execution and successful delivery of a portfolio of customer engagements for the Digital Labs team
Grow and develop a team of talented digital first innovators who define, design and deliver payments solutions for customers
Explore and support development of Mastercard Labs' relationships with external parties such as other innovation entities, Labs organizations and colleges/universities
Keep informed on emerging technologies and innovations in the payments and commerce space and identify potential opportunities for the Digital Labs team to develop product prototypes that would be relevant to the customer base
Regular travel to all markets across Asia Pacific
Knowledge / Experience Preferred
Have experience running a P&L and managing a customer facing team
Demonstrated experience in consulting and familiar with the sales and delivery cycle
Have a track record launching digital products to market
Be a highly skilled leader with a wealth of experience leading multi-disciplinary groups through end-to-end digital product development activities especially agile & design thinking methodologies
High energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical and strategic skills
Executive-level presentation skills-must have persuasive "presence" and ability to effectively communicate technology to business people and business to technology people
Passionate about technology and technology innovation with an ability to apply it to add value for customers
Payments technology knowledge or experience in financial services would be a huge advantage
Experience working with/in large corporates
