The purpose of this position is to design and develop digital reference solutions that support on-the-job learning and the need to look up information, recipes, processes, and procedures. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining digital reference materials, including electronic references, online job aids, online help files, and electronic sites with digital media (such as reference videos) in accordance with Publix templates, Information Mapping principles, and ETD standards and can include electronic references, online documents with minimal interaction (basic interactive PDFs), online job aids, and online help.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or Psychology with an emphasis or concentration in industrial psychology or organizational management, digital communication or other communications, computer information science, or other analytical areas or equivalent work experienceat least one (1) year of experience using HTML, SharePoint, Photoshop, Illustratorat least one (1) year of experience designing and developing digital references, digital media, or web pagesexcellent interpersonal communication skillsexcellent writing and editing skillsability to be creativeability to use research methodologies and effective interviewing techniquesability to build relationships and credibility with SMEs, facilitate group discussion and negotiate with SMEs and content ownersability to facilitate meetings with subject matter experts and to communicate content needs with SMEs to ensure digital references are sound and effectiveability to multi-taskstrong organizational skillsagility and the ability to adapt and be flexibleknowledge of US digital standard concepts, writing styles, practices, and procedureswillingness to work evenings and weekends to meet project needsAbility to maintain confidentialitybasic knowledge of Microsoft Word

　　Potential Annual Base Pay

　　57,200- 79,664

　　Year End Bonus

　　To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
