Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Digital Consultant for the Digital Consulting work stream to support the growth of a new regional and global digital service. The Senior Digital Consultant will report to the Digital Consulting Lead for Europe.
As a Senior Digital Consultant and take a lead role in guiding our client organisations through the advisory and implementation of digital strategies, data analytics, AI adoption, technology and product development. The main objective will be to provide comprehensive end-to-end customer support, facilitating the integration of digital solutions into their business operations. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with clients, understanding their business goals, evaluating current digital capabilities, and formulating strategies to drive measurable business outcomes through digital methods. As a key player in executing our digital strategy for growth, you will support digital teams and consultancy delivery for our key clients, contributing to the expansion of our services, including revenue, margin, and net promoter score.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
Support the development and building of client relationships
Connecting with Work Winning community and Client Account Manager on consultancy leads and tender opportunities and supporting wider strategic bids
Supporting pre-qualification, tender responses and proposals
Conduct assessments of current digital processes and capabilities within the organisation.
Contributing to the development and building of client relationships through client-facing project work, pitches and showcases of digital offerings
Promoting and supporting development of digital service offerings internally
Identify and prioritise digital initiatives that deliver maximum value and impact.
Creating, showcasing case studies and thought leadership
Delivery and management of consultancy commissions to clients Globally
Project management support of consultancy commissions
Leading client workshops using a design thinking approach
Commoditizing consultancy deliverables as repeatable offerings
Lessons learned – feeding knowledge from commissions back into the business to support future growth and opportunities
Supporting research on digital innovation – new technologies, processes, and start-ups to identify opportunities
Provide guidance on organisational culture shifts required for successful digital transformation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions.
Qualifications
Experience in mentoring and coaching technical and non technical analytics teams
Experience of influencing non-technical executive stakeholders from around the business
Experience in business development and customer acquisition and retention.
Demonstrated experience in work winning (for digital or technology practices, digital solutions)
Demonstrated collaborative influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to support delivery of strategic consultancy commissions
Demonstrated innovation delivery
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
Knowledge of commercial workflows
Experience working in regional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or Information ManagementAttributes/skills
Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized and adaptable team member.
Flexible with work times to align with colleagues in different time zones.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and influence potential customers and senior leaders.
